Honestly I just stumbled across this good food spot and I’m glad I did. The young lady immediately helped me out and was offering samples to help me decide what to order. Although the noodles did lack a little bit of flavor I found the other dishes including the chicken to be well seasoned. I think my favorite was the sweet chicken, along with the spicy one. The portions were amazing. Not to mention the friendly and quick service, something which isn’t as common nowadays. Regardless if I’m ever in this mall again I will have to go back. Would recommend.

Seved me hard rice and uncooked chicken. Asked for a refund and they refused and said they can't because I paid cash . Horrible food and customer service. Definitely not thai food , greasy noodles no Thai flavors at all . I'm sick 🤮 from eating this . Should have gone to panda . Gross and the people who work there are rude .

Mango chicken , Thai chicken , and bbq chicken are so good. Their noodles are thick and sweet too. My family and I go to the mall just to eat here

The service is terrible especially the one who served us by the name of jerry. She’s very rude, impolite and arrogant. She shouldn’t be in this business. I won’t recommend this fast food. She’s the one who has tattoos on her hand. Beware of her. Don’t let her serve you.

Good food, can’t really taste the Thai flavors. No real difference between this restaurant and Chinese fast food. No chicken curry available for a food choice either 😢
The lady was nice and friendly, gave me a good portion of food for the cost.
The food was fresh. The noddles were cooked well and had a good taste. Shrimp adds ons cost extra.

Buyer beware. Place looks clean, food smells nice but the quality is not so good. The portions are small and they charge an up-sale price on most items: shrimp , fried rice, and even noodles. It's not what you think. Made my cousin sick.. fried chicken might be sour.
Decided to give this place a try last night and was very happy we did. Ordered the rice and noodles and got the BBQ Thai Chicken and it was delicious! Similar to teriyaki flavor which totally worked for me. Also got the Mango Chicken and my daughter got the Broccoli Beef. The broccoli was a bit soggy but the flavor was good. The people behind the counter were fast and friendly. I don’t know about “real” Thai food or flavors. I stayed away from anything with 2 or more chili peppers. I just know I liked what we got and will definitely go back.
We all hit up the food court the other day and ended up at Ruby Thai Kitchen—let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Lillian’s been raving about it since her first bite, and now I get why. Those two women running the place are all smiles and heart, making sure everything that comes out of their kitchen is on point.
I had my doubts, but after they handed us a sample on our walk-through, I was sold. The flavors are just there—sweet, spicy, perfect balance, nothing too over the top, just right. And even Oceano couldn’t get enough of it. The kid loved the chicken so much, he’s already asking when we’re going back. He seriously wants more, which says a lot because he’s picky as hell.
It’s not just the food, though. The vibe of the place feels good—genuine. The women behind the counter bring a warmth that makes you feel welcome every time. They’re serving more than just food; they’re serving love with every plate. And man, the flavors? Bold, fresh, everything you’d want in a quick meal. Even the sauces take things up a notch—made everything taste better, even the rice, which is usually just there as a filler.
Bottom line, we all loved it. Ruby Thai Kitchen is one of those spots we’re definitely coming back to. It’s not just about filling you up—it’s about the whole experience. If Oceano’s begging for a return trip, you know it’s good.

Ruby Thai Kitchen is a food court outlet at the Cerritos shopping mall. The food is good and not spicy at all. However, they have few spicy dishes to order from. Combo 1 is composed of one entray and rice/noodles. Combo 2 an extra entray. The atmosphere is rated 3 because its a food court

The employees are nice and accommodating. Ordered a 3 combo, which is 3 entrees and a side. Got Thai Chicken, Spicy Chicken and Mango Chicken with a side of Thai Noodles. The spicy chicken was delicious and had a good kick but not too spicy. Tender and had some good veggies mixed in with it such as zucchinis, peppers and carrots. The Thai Chicken was sweet and savory. Tender and tasty.Mango chicken was similar to an orange chicken. It was crispy, sweet and savory. All in all the chicken was good. The Thai noodles were bland though. Id recommend a different side or get some sauce or seasoning for the noodles.
