Hosted a night out with friends and was looking for a local bar to go to and hang out. Was pleasantly surprised when I went in bar looks like it has been renovated has a big bar and nice size tables to accommodate parties of various sizes. Ordered some food like the nachos and bitch were excellent and tacos were delicious also had the lumpia taquitos which were on point with the sauce. The beer selection is good mixed drinks were priced moderately. Over all service was great we had two servers in charged of our table both were great. Was disappointed with all the 49ers decor but service and food made up for it.

Food, service and beer selection have always been good. Definitely a good spot to go to when in the Cerritos area. Have not been back in a while, but do try to go when I am around the area.

My first time at shipmates and I gotta tell you when you first walk in it's dark and a bit intimidating but leave that crap at the door, this place was a ton of fun. Our bartender Brittany was pure delight as was our server Armondo. Great beer selections, craft cocktails and huge portions on some great bar food. I know it's a 49er's backer bar but the Bills Mafia came and we're treated like old friends! We will be back even after football is over. Good luck to the Niners hope we meet in the big game. Go Bills!!

This use to be my hangout and place to go every weekend with fam and friends. But since they've had these new bartenders who give you attitude and sass I no longer feel like going or even feel welcomed. I'll give credit where credit is due, their food is by far the best in town for a bar, no question! The aesthetics of the bar are awesome meaning the set up to watch games and the array of TV's. Just wish they would treat their local patrons a bit better

Shipmates has been my go-to bar for the past 7 years. Everything about this joint is hands down all you need to have an amazing time! From the great food, to the ambiance, to the music, to the servers, owners, and people! When coming here, the servers treat you like family! Their very attentive and have always been good at making sure you're taken care of in every aspect. Sabrina is AMAZING!! She truly cares about her bar and the people in it. She's always gone above and beyond for my friends and family every time we've stepped foot inside. The music in this bar is always a VIBE!! The food, my personal favorite, the savage nachos are HANDS DOWN one of my favorite appetizers off the menu. And don't even get me started on their wings. To die for!! Thank you to the entire staff at Shipmates for always being so amazing and taking such great care of your customers :)

The Staff is amazing and like Family. The food is great, Fun environment, the Owners are great people. They are always accomodating to large groups/ parties. We have been to many events at their establishment. They go above and beyond for their customers. They have a very loyal customer base for a reason.
Usually come here for a couple drinks after work and sit in a booth with my two friends, but security boy in the front today was doing the most, hit my ID with the 27 point inspection check, once I cleared his inspection, he offered us the worst seat in the house, I said we usually sit in a booth (there was 2open) he said not today, you need 4 or more for a booth, and I said we're off to BWW Craig He must've been new, he was doing too much. The regular security guy is cool and the service is always A++, drinks and food are always good. Place is always super chill. The hostess/security guy killed it for me today.

Fred is the best bartender ever! He was so attentive & kind during my visit. I've been quite a few times & the bartenders are always really nice & there are great food options for vegan/vegetarian diets. The cauliflower bites are wonderful & all the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked very appetizing. The atmosphere is great whether you're hanging out solo or watching the game with a group of friends. This bar is a great local gem ✨Vegetarian options: quite a few options, especially for a bar.Parking: huge parking lot for all the businesses around. You won't have trouble finding parking.

Alright he's the 411 The service is phenomenal. Alex, Jose, Armando, TJ, Myrna, Brittney, Curtis and Fred are amazing. The team here is a tight knit team. The drinks are amazing!!! They pour well. A must is Alex's expresso martini, perfectly severed, and mind you; I've had many. Cheers!! The food is delicious, the cooks are so consistent with the menu that you'll be back for more. Try the tacos, burgers, nachos and steak. They are prepared so perfect. Thank you for the service, the cocktails and food. Cheers!!!
