The cheesesteak and fries took 20 mins. The food came out cold. The lemonade tasted moldy. First and last time we’ll be eating here

The food at this burger place was okay, but the service really brought the experience down. Staff wouldn’t even put our to-go order in a bag, which felt careless and unprofessional. Definitely not impressed.

I really can't believe people are raving about this place. Not only is the food seemingly underflavored considering all the ingredients that go into it, but their soda also comes out of the fountain completely flat. On top of that, you have to eat it in the food court with screaming children and teenagers yelling for attention. At least that was my experience today. I was very excited to try this place and while it was on my radar, I traveled to Canada and ate at a legit spot with the same type of food that blew this spot away. I really can't say too much more than that. Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere.

Good portion for value size and the quality is spot on plus it is filling. The bun pairs well with the meat. The meal is made to order. You should try it. Try the chopped cheese sandwich

First time here didn’t know I would like this place. The burger was cooked to perfection. The skinny fries were better than I anticipated seasoned great. I will definitely return soon

The burgers itself are good but the fries are trash hard and skinny how can you sell fries that’s skinner than a shoe string for the wait for this meal you should’ve made them fresh but clearly you just heated them up smh I will never spend my money here again

My wife and I ordered the chili cheese burger combo and everything had a lot of flavor. The fries could’ve been a little thicker but overall fried and salted well. The Signature sauce and soda selection was really good too

Do you wanna Grind?
Free samples - they suck you in like a vortex. The Grind opened up at Los Cerritos Center, serving up New York Style Chopped Cheese, Smashburgers and Loaded Fries. Strolling through the mall, I've noticed & availed myself of The Grind's Smashburger samples, on many an occasion. They're so cheesy & gooey. I've heard about Chopped Cheese sandwiches, a New York staple, so I was intriqued to try one for myself.
New York Style Chopped Cheese-
I watched the Chopped Cheese process. 2 never frozen Smashburger patties (I chose raw onions. I assume grilled onions would cook with/alongside the patties), topped with 2 slices American cheese till melted. Chopped up, then topped with shredded cheese till melted. Placed into an Amoroso roll w/ mayo, Signature sauce (spicy, for mine), tomatoes, lettuce, raw onions, pickles. The Chopped Cheese looks small, but it's actually quite hefty & filling. The soft w/ a crusty shell Amoroso roll could barely manage all the juices coming out of it. The cheesy patties were succulent, yet had the crunchy off the griddle exterior. I relished every bite of my Chopped Cheese, and found my appetite satiated.
Service was good. Ordering is cashless via tablets. I asked the cook to add more vegetables to my sandwich. Completion of my order didn't take long, as I watched the cook do his thing. The Grind is located in-between Lupita's Tacos & Ruby Thai.
The Grind is a welcome addition the Los Cerritos Center food court. I'm unaware if their Chopped Cheese is a reasonable facsimile of those in New York, but I do know I was quite happy with my sandwich. Diminutive at first glance, The Grind's Chopped Cheese is a great tasting sandwich, and I'm looking forward to having another one as I type this. Highly recommend!

My favorite is the Grind Smash Burger. It has so much flavor especially with the sauce that they use and everything tastes so fresh. A good deal too. Add an extra patty if you’re extra hungry.
