I have been here 3 times this week to try and file a limited civil court case, today their system is slow as molasses, the lady at window 9 always seems to be doing nothing and her window is closed or she is looking at computer probably looking at what is on sale at Target. Then the other two are having a conversation for 20 minutes you see each other every day, is there really that much to talk about. So I still haven't gotten my papers filed have to come back Monday. At least everything is there that needs to be there so I should get done within 2-3 hours. I heard the wheels of justice are slow, but this is ridiculous. Van Nuys in and out within 15-20 minutes. You guys are the cops and your Internet is garbage like that? I thought mine was bad at home you got me beat.

Parking was a breeze, plenty of space on a Thursday morning and easy to pay. Visited the counter of family law. Had to wait about 10 minutes before it was my turn. Received correct information and was able to file the paperwork with the clerks help. thank you

I don't exactly love what I have to do here, but the courthouse itself and the people who staff it are awesome. If I have to be part of any legal case, then I would want it to be here.

E-filing for divorce is incredibly frustrating and feels like a system designed to take advantage of people. I paid a $500 filing fee, only to find out that my case was submitted to the wrong courthouse--. The e-filing website, which is specifically built for divorce cases, allows users to select from available family law courts, yet filings can still be rejected for being in the wrong jurisdiction. How is this not a scam? The website itself indicates family law, yet they deny responsibility, leaving people without a refund till later.
To make matters worse, when you go in person to ask for help, you're treated poorly. If the staff are unhappy with their jobs, they should consider leaving instead of making an already difficult process even more stressful. Many people are struggling financially, The system needs to be more user-friendly and transparent to prevent these costly mistakes
And i live in reseda and want me to file at van nuys?
I was there for traffic court ... Judge-Commissioner Weiss is very patient & compassionate. I've been in a lot of different court rooms ...and Commissioner Weiss is impressive.

Do NOT park in the lot in front of the courthouse unless you are certain of your business they will not allow you out on any time stamp it is an 8$ flat fee. Additionally make sure you show up to the courthouse before it’s closed because the hours say till 430 but they close early & let the clerks leave before it even hits 430. I was one of a group of people who came at the end of their work day to get some paperwork filed & the doors were locked & they wouldn’t let anyone in yet Tellers were leaving before it even hit the closing time. Very unprofessional & disappointing of our court system. Not to mention you can’t do anything via telephone if you want anything done in this antiquated system you have to physically show up in person.
