Ok so......Tried the Lula and chicken kabob plate. The good...the chicken was excellent. The hummus was good. They had Jalapenos too. The rice was fluffy but no flavor. Cardamon might give a bit of natural flavor.
The bad the Koubideh was overcooked and mad dry and bland. The portions were dumb small. If I pay $20 to eat here I'll just be hungry again in an hour or so. Would I come back? Yes for the chicken but at this price point. I would not come back because I cant get full. In these days and times people cannot afford to pay $20-$30 plus dollars and still be hungry. Its really like kids portions. I have a few places that I can spend $20 bucks and be full all day. I'd have to spend atleast $50 bucks to get full here. But if the portions were larger. I could easily come back for the chicken kabob alone. I'm cool on the Koubideh though. Two stars for the Chicken Kabob whatever they are doing they doing it right.

We have ordered from here a few times and it has been consistently delicious. The rotisserie chicken is so juicy and well seasoned. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!
I only recently went into Cicek's Chicken and couldn't believe how delicious it was. The quality is consistent every time. The moutabal is to die for, and the garlic sauce hits so good with the chicken. Speaking of which, the chicken is juicy and perfect. The filet mignon is so delicious too. Just tried the baklava and WOW, didn't expect it to be as delicious as it was. I was genuinely surprised. So happy to be a semi-regular now, this place rules. Give it a shot.
The food is delicious and fresh. Very welcoming environment with friendly staff. Highly recommend the chicken, good roast on the outside, and perfectly juicy in the inside .

The owner posted a cook job online. A friend went for an interview today 1-8-24... He is only paying...under the table...$15 an hour. Which is below minimum wage. My friend has legal documents to work. What a joke. I hope the California Department of Labor sees this and fines him. I called inquiring about the position on Craigslist they posted...they "already hired someone" and refused to tell me the pay. Obviously if the owner treats his employees like this...probably not a great place to eat or work.

Somebody else I know and me have been coming here for many years; I have yet to have any significant issues with the staff and the food: Sarah (who may have been the cashier) was a very good person.
