Me and my husband were going on a trip to Hawaii and we ordered some food to go to have on the plane and as we were eating our food, my husband found a huge long hair in his roast beef dip sandwich and it was disgusting so we won’t have to throw all our food away. We did call we spoke with someone and then we got back here last night. We called defeat to have our food replaced and she says no that we can’t do that that it’s been too long and I spoke with someone so my advice to you is that a country deli their food is not that great for the price and For them to do something like that after going in there for 25 years I just continued my service to them, and I would not give service to them providing that they don’t have any kind of good feedback with any kind of problems with they have just a warning

I love Country Deli. Warm and very friendly atmosphere. All of team members at Country Deli are all very nice!! However, Letty is my favorite server ☺️. My usual go-to breakfast is the 2 Eggs, Any Style with Bacon, Home Fries, and Wheat Toast. Their Breakfast Burrito is delicious as well.

What a lovely gem! I ordered the light lunch with half a turkey and provolone sandwich and the chicken and rice soup. I also added a side of potato salad. It was all delicious! It was tons to eat and everyone was extremely kind.

We waited 7 minutes for someone to take our order, they weren’t busy (only 4 other tables). He never brought our drinks, bagel chips, or pickles, we had to ask someone else. The food was okay. We ordered chicken soup and matzo ball soup. The chicken was hard, over cooked. We also ordered a side of Spanish rice. It had a hair on the plate, they were very accommodating. Replaced the rice and didn’t charge us, very nice and not necessary! The staff were super pleasant, just not attentive.

Diner that has everything you need and more - bagels, lox, bakery items. I love splitting the avocado toast with my sister while the coffee is refilled promptly by friendly staff. This is a favorite spot!
Nickel and diming your customers is not a good way to retain them. We have been customers of Country Deli for many years. Food and service is good. However today was a very disappointing experience. We ordered two lox and bagel plates and requested substituting fruit for the onion/tomato/cucumber/olives and were told that they couldn’t do it and there would be an extra charge for the fruit. We accepted that (later finding out that it was $7 for each tiny bowl). Then after our plates came out we requested extra capers and were told there would be an extra charge for that! At that point we were totally disappointed. Then to top it off during the payment process they informed us that there would be yet ANOTHER extra charge to use a credit card for payment!

Have been coming here for decades but unfortunately the prices have gone up so much and the portions have shrunk we can no longer afford our favorite family restaurant. Very sad. Food and service are still top quality but $100 for 3 people for 3 sandwiches and two sodas is too steep!
