Epic Tacos Restaurant -Simi Valley

This place is delicious! Staff and service were both excellent

First time ordering from Epic Tacos. This will now be my go to spot for street tacos! I ordered the 10 taco platter, some grill shrimp tacos and of course chips and salsa. Everything was great! The shrimp tacos were stuffed with shrimp and all the good stuff. The taco platter which we mixed with carnitas, asada and al pastor hit the spot. Then the salsa for the chips and salsa was great!! It was so good I forgot to take a Pic! Ill definitely be back!

Stopped in today to try the Tacos. Friendly staff.

I ended up ordering 3 Carne Asada Street tacos and a Baja Fish Taco.

I have to say I really enjoyed the tacos. The carne Asada was flavorful and the fresh salsas were outstanding. Just the right heat and smokeyness.

The fish taco was flavorful and was seasoned just right. The fish was fresh, but it was a bit more chewy than I expected. Still good though.

I'll definitely be back.

We have followed them for years, since we used to live in the Valley and went to Granada Hills for the Friday night food trucks, where they were always there and the lines were always long. Luckily, they opened their restaurant in Simi Valley, in our neighborhood. We love their tacos. My husband’s favorite is the pork belly, mine are the potato tacos, and my daughter’s are the birria tacos. The chips are homemade, and they give free refills on horchata. The owners are usually there, and they are very nice. Today we were spoiled with free dessert—fresh churros—and extra chicken for our doggy. Highly recommended, the best tacos in Simi.

The food used to be good. Quality has dropped, the pastor was tasty before now its bland and the meat was barely cooked to temperature.
I had ordered on their app for a pick up, they messed up my order and when I contacted them. I was told I would get a refund, but I never did.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Birria is very good. Portions are fair for the price. Very small space for dine-in... not very comfortable but I guess they are more geared towards take-out.

If you love fresh, family recipe made Tacos on housemade Corn Taco shells soft or hard or their Burritos, then this is your place. Sitting in front of a small Strip Mall at Yosemite and Los Angeles Ave across the driveway from Carl's Jr. And Taco Bell as competitors, you just can't go wrong with their delicious reasonably priced Tacos. Amazing house made Red and Green Salsa and Beer available. Tortilla Chips are Homemade and available to purchase in small plastic bags on the Counter. The owner is a friendly Business Man named Edgar. My favorite cashier girl is Lynette who is very sweet and friendly and always happy and helpful. Go enjoy an Epic Taco! 🌮🌯

Epic Tacos really lives up to its name! I had the veggie burrito and honestly, it’s one of the better burritos I’ve had in a long time—and I’m Latino. Generous portions, fresh flavors, and the prices are more than fair. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

I'm updating my review before it was three stars, it's labor day weekend and we thought let's give this place a shot this is my third time. We order Epic fries and a burrito. Our burrito had onion huge junks and to my surprise I had the outside of the skin of an onion put in my burrito. I had to pick at it cause we couldn't even chew through it at all. I was over it and just toss it out. While, I can say I'm done giving this place a try. I thought I should ask my wife and see how her fries are. She mentions to me that her fries had some cheddar cheese but no cheese sauce like the way the photo had it and that none of her fries where crunchy they were soggy. I wanted to go back and tell the people there how bad our experience was but I just prefer not going back. Three different opportunities and something has always let us down on this spot. Two plates for $30 bucks that just got Tossed out. I'll stick with Fast & Fresh on Tapo st or Don Cucos. WE DON'T RECOMMEND THIS.

AMAZING FOOD!! I love the workers so much! This place has such fresh and yummy food! I love the chips and salsa, the chips are warm and the salsa is fresh and spicy!! Plus any chance to get a Mexican Coke I will love!!

The food here is amazing! I ordered the Cali burrito and it was a 10/10 — packed with flavor and definitely worth it. Big shout out to the cashier, Lynette (hopefully I spelled your name right!) for being so nice, kind, and attentive. Great food + great customer service = highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Awesome food and catering recently for a 40th birthday party! Epic Tacos has so many yummy Mexican dishes, all authentically prepared, and they are really well set up for various catering events.

Lots of options depending on your get-together needs— party trays, catering orders, serving options and Taco truck.

Delicious food, friendly prompt service, and very professional.

Highly recommend!

I’ve been here a few times and the food was pretty good but the last time I went will be my last. I have never in my life gotten food poisoning and this place gave it to me. All I got was queso tacos and salsa I’m not sure if it was the meet in the taco or the salsa had gone bad but I was throwing up for 2 days with a fever. For the whole week after eating there I felt sick too. I know for sure it was this place cuz I hadn’t eaten anything all day and within 2 hours after I felt nauseas. Just giving a fair warning if you like to eat here to be cautious.
