One of my Family’s favorite places to go, except lately we have had a waitress that no matter if busy or slow she provides the worst service! The restaurant has also become cheap. If you order potatoes with your breakfast, onions and peppers are not added and if you want, it is an extra cost… how cheap. Please just charge me the higher price, but don’t be cheap to add! Covid excuses are over.

I know it was Mother's Day but this was absurd! I have never in my 43 years of life received service or lack of like I did that day. The waitress was the rudest I have ever encountered. Not one voluntary check in everything had to be requested multiple times. Attitudes. Because of her and her service it was my first and last visit to Mimi's Cafe. Sad because A: I was looking forward to it due to multiple people raving about it and B: the food, lukewarm at best, was actually really good. I wish I could remember her name. It was a common name with an uncommon spelling.

So first off, I understand that we came on Mother's Day and expected it to be busy, but this was beyond busy. I don't believe the management did anything to prepare for the rush. It's almost as though it was treated like any other day, but it's not. First complaint, it took 20 minutes to get seated. Okay, that wasn't bad. I expected it to take time. But it seemed very chaotic and disorganized at the host booth. We were seated before a table that had an earlier reservation, and I didn't really understand their reasoning. But okay. We got to sit down. Second complaint, it took an hour and a half to get salads and appetizers. We had a diabetic person in our party, so it was a bit difficult to navigate that. And remember that party that had an earlier reservation? Well, they left around the time we received our food. And my last complaint, there were no managers at all walking the floor talking to guests and trying to smooth things over. If you're not going to modify the staff numbers or workflow, then at least show your face. So the moral of the story? We will not be coming back for Mother's Day or any other holiday. This location is slow on normal days, so it's even slower during major rushes. To the frontline workers, I know you tried your best, and this poor planning and execution is on the management.

It was Mother's Day so of course it is chaotic. Waited almost an hour for our food and our orders were wrong. The taste of our food was lacking , not much flavor. Not to overpriced but will not be returning to this restaurant was my first and last time here. The food was not to my or families liking.
Actual food served was 65-70 % of what was pictured in the advertisement for the same item. The service was below par. You have to ask for refills even though the waitress could see your glass was empty. The food was overpriced based on their competitors.

For my last 3 visits I have requested a Latte and their machine is always broken. When I asked the Manager if I could get a strong cup of coffee brewed so I can use creamer and whip cream to make my own latte he said “ We can't do that and that I t's out of my control. There's nothing I can do.  Not I'm sorry. Let me see what we can do. Just nothing. He just walked away such bad customer service and it seems they don't care anymore. I'm sure this has happened to other people.
