Overall very good experience. Chai was very good and fresh. Misal very authentic taste. Vada Pav was ok but not bad. The only disappointment was pav. The pav served were not indian pav that you get with misal and vada. That kind of ruins the taste especially when misal itself was very good.

Really loved food in mother india. We got solkadhi, malvani masala, kohlapuri mutton masala and friend promfret with rice bhakri. The bhakri wasn't soft and perfect but it served me memories back from Mumbai! The spice level didn't disappoint as well.

Drove 3 hrs from San diego to visit this place. We were extremely excited to visit Mother India for good food. DO NOT order misal pav! DONOT! It is the worst I have had, tastes nothing like misal, no farsan was provided and was topped with a thick layer of oil. Solkadi was too sour. Fried pomfret was soaked in oil, and the marinade was basic. The only good dish was the malvani fish curry with prawns.

The best samosas ever! You can tell they make in house and the best one have to be veggie samosas!

Excellent Indian food. I ordered the Coconut Curry Chicken to go and requested it 'Spicy'. So often in my travels I'll visit an Indian restaurant and order spicy and be disappointed. Not this time, this was spicy, just like I enjoy it. So spicy it makes my scalp sweat. The Garlic naan bread was also very good.

Worst misal pav i have ever eaten. The misal is nothing but oil with no sev. For Pav they literally heated hot dog bun. Do not recommend going here.
I love Indian food but I didn’t like most of what we ate. The curry chicken just tasted like curry and was filled with potatoes. The Tikka Masala sauce tasted ok but there was minimal chicken and the rice was just horrible. We did love the bread. Not worth the money. Not very nice inside

Very worst experience. Especially the biryani is plain tamarind rice powder mixed with mutton pieces in Thai (Jasmine) rice. Nothing in the menu looks/tastes like Indian.
Despite extremely tired/hungry that day, we couldn't even eat half the portion. No food is fresh/tasty.
I guess it is a place for snacks but we didn't try any snacks items so I can't comment on that. Please think thrice before going.
