★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Trash Establishment – Avoid at All Costs
I came to Star Bar for all of 30 seconds—literally just to return a pool stick I had borrowed from a buddy. Didn’t even walk inside. While standing outside, one of their drunk regulars—clearly overserved—immediately started threatening me for no reason. This wasn’t some back-and-forth; the guy got up, walked off the patio, came onto the public sidewalk, and got in my face.
I defended myself. That’s it. He ended up on the ground, and I walked away. The bar’s response? They 86’d me—not the aggressive drunk they kept feeding alcohol to—but the guy who showed restraint until his personal space was completely invaded.
This place has a shady, volatile crowd, terrible judgment, and a staff that protects their reckless regulars no matter what they do. If you’re into garbage service, toxic regulars, and being blamed for other people’s drunken stupidity, by all means—check out Star Bar. Otherwise, steer clear. It’s not worth your time or your safety.

My favorite bar! Been coming here for half my life. I know all the regulars and all the bar tenders. It’s like a family here, we all watch out for each other. Now let’s talk about the drinks. Best drinks in the valley. You will not be disappointed. Love my bartenders too. Kim is great she always greets you with smile and is so friendly. She knows my vodka language. Ana, Dan and Hanna make great martinis! Love this bar!!!

Great dive bar in the Northwest San Fernando Valley. Some of the bartenders are really good. The food is decent , and the wings are probably best for the Chatsworth area.

The starbar is right next door to the u haul location where I Frequently I've been going to in the last couple weeks. Because I'm moving out of my house. I've never been to this establishment, but I hear the owners are really good people and they have couple t. Vs, and I'm sure they have really good drinks. I don't drink myself but I'm sure others do and would find this place relaxing although it is on. Deventure itself and when you're next to a busy street. You do get a lot of bad air from cars and tires. But other than that it's a great place.
The bartender didn't know how much our beers cost..I felt like she was making up her own prices... The dart games didn't work... We asked the bartender if they worked, she didn't know..WOW... They definitely need better customer service....

Karaoke every Wednesday night at 8pm. Fair drink prices. Hot bartenders; especially blue haired Monica. Love the new chairs. The sandwiches are amazing. Owners did a good job updating this place!
