I was there at 8am this morning 4 employees and 2 customers waiting for one breakfast sandwich each. Took 10 minutes for them to help me to buy 4 bagels.

There are many Western Bagels in the relative area … but they are not the same. THIS store the people are kind, efficient and the bagels are soft but firm and chewy (not rock hard the next day).

I stopped by this Western Bagel this morning to get a bagel. I was going to be in the area to pickup my online order at a store so I stopped by here first. I came in the early morning so they were not busy at all. I was able to get a parking spot right in front of this store and walk inside. I got a blueberry bagel, toasted and asked for creme cheese on the side because they tend to put a lot on the bagel. I got my wife her jalapenos cheese bagel. It didn't take them long to toast my bagel and I took it home to eat. I thought my blueberry bagel was too toasted but I still finished it. My wife loved her jalapenos cheese bagel, it's always her favorite.

this place gets five stars bc it’s always good service when i go but today i had to leave this review for the older women with short hair because idk what her problem was having an attitude so early. i greeted her good morning and she just stared, she then put my bagel down mad. when i left im polite i told her have a good day and all she said was ok” like don’t be working somewhere where people go in the morning because your attitude will ruin anyone’s morning. horrible and she didn’t have a name tag bossing the other young man around making him to everything while she can’t even greet people.

Went to Western bagel to purchase 3 dozen bagels and spreads at 9:42 a.m. 04/09/24. There were 3 employees working there, none of whom acknowledged my presence upon entering. I stood there for 7 minutes and approached a young girl asking her if she worked there? She said yeah, im doing an online order. Another employee a young man was slicing turkey and a third elderly lady finally asked if I had been helped and proceeded to say she could help me in 10-15 minutes. There was no other customers in the store besides the guy that the young girl was chatting with. Will not be returning. Ever.
Food is absolutely amazing, what completely ruins the experience is the attitude from the staff and the atmosphere. Tables were dirty, no napkins in the containers. Most of the kids behind the counter were alright and making a valiant effort to serve customers. The African American kid with a Libra sign tattoo on the back of his neck is brass, rude, has zero manners, zero customer service and needs to redo his training or straight up get fired and go work at a morgue if talking to people is not his forte. I witnessed him rudely tell a customer screaming “13! You get 12 bagels!! What else?” Then someone else’s turn came up and he says to the customer with a tone: “what do you want?!” Then proceeded to forget part of my order. When I approached him to get my items, he did it, but with an extra side of really bad attitude.We will definitely be going to different location moving forward.

Absolutely the best bagels on the planet. They are so fresh. We moved to the Bay Area and there are no Western Bagels anywhere within 300 miles. They are better than Noah's Bagels Einstein Bros Bagels. We always get them whenever we take a trip down to LA.

Second time here and had a server, SEAN, who was rude and arrogant. This morning, I was the next in line; I had a friend who doesn't speak English with me, I paused to confirm the type of bagel he wanted. When I looked up, Sean had already took the next customer's order. When I said I was next, he looked at me and said "I've already taken this person's order." I found this unprofessional and completely unlike the service I usually receive at Western Bagel. My wife had a similar experience with Sean, a week or so ago. Our friend from France commented to us that he too found Sean's service to be terrible ?
