Absolutely bussin. The burritos were so bussinnnnn. Seriously though the burros were massive and delicious. A wee pike like me ate the whollleee thing. It was like 3 pounds maybe more. Cheap boy too. Only a 10 piece.

Not a fan of this place. Had to push the seat closer to the table cause they were so far away. Wanted water with my meal and the water from the fountain machine tasted horrible. Ended up having to buy fountain drinks. Ordered burritos and enchiladas. The burritos tasted like they had mayonnaise and a strange seasoning in them. Ended up throwing them both away. Ordered the enchiladas and they were so tangy. Tried scarping the meat out but the sauce got on that too so ended up throwing those away as well. Had chips and salsa and the chips were super rubbery. Choose this place to have my birthday dinner at because I had heard such good things about this restaurant. Will not be going here again.

I love this place, it’s my favourite Mexican spot in Chico. Their shrimp burrito is my go-to and I love all their food! Their tres-leches is decent. Also, their portion sizes are huge!
I had their chile relleno, and it was pretty good too. The soft centre with stuffed melted cheese was a perfect replacement for meat, but totally worth it… delicioso!!!!
I love their ambience, the atmosphere is pretty good for any size. Their music is very pleasant, and the best part… it’s not always crowded.
Update: I tried their fish tacos recently, and it’s very delicious. Unlike the ones I’ve had before which are usually pan fried fillets, this fish fillet was coated and deep fried, which definitely made a big difference. Imma go back and try more in the following weeks lol.
Two of my friends tried their Fajita de carnitas and California burrito, and they enjoyed every bite from their plate. Honestly this is better than any mexican fast-food chains!

Was there a few weeks ago and my family and I got sick after eating here. The horchata was rancid and we bought two of them without knowing. There were also dead cockroaches near the sitting area. Definitely not going back here.

Aztlan provided catering for our baby shower this weekend. The portions were huge and the service was incredible. Their staff are so friendly. The food was packaged with care. And the best part? Everything was SO delicious. The food here is amazing. The owner is very flexible and kind. They host parties here as well, so if you’re looking for a place to host your next event or a go to for catering- or just a weeknight burrito- go to Aztlan!’

Aztlan’s asada grilled tacos are the best I’ve ever had in my entire life — and I don’t make that claim lightly. I crave them often… which means I end up here at least once a week to scratch the itch. The tortillas are grilled to the happiest medium of both soft & crispy, cheese is melted on the inside of the tortilla which prevents shreds from recklessly falling out with each bite, the meat is so fresh and flavorful, and the taco is overflowing with crunchy lettuce and fresh diced tomatoes. Not to be dramatic, but if I had the foresight to choose a last meal… this would be it.
Service is hit or miss depending on who’s working, and honestly that would normally detract from a review I give… but damn, those tacos.
