Aztlan’s asada grilled tacos are the best I’ve ever had in my entire life — and I don’t make that claim lightly. I crave them often… which means I end up here at least once a week to scratch the itch. The tortillas are grilled to the happiest medium of both soft & crispy, cheese is melted on the inside of the tortilla which prevents shreds from recklessly falling out with each bite, the meat is so fresh and flavorful, and the taco is overflowing with crunchy lettuce...

If you are looking for good authentic Mexican food, you have found the place. This is really good and I've tried many places, this is one of the best places in Chico. They are really friendly, they make everything fresh, and they go over and beyond to make sure you're happy with the meal and that you have everything you need to enjoy.

Their horchatas are to die for, please give it a try. They have lots to offer from street tacos to burritos to quesadillas!...

The funny thing about this place, for me, is that it became my and my dad's favorite Mexican restaurant without either of us telling each other about it. He just started raving to me about the wet burrito he got at "the yellow-painted place down the street."

I'm no food connoisseur and I haven't had a huge variety of their dishes, but I will say their burritos are phenomenal. I do not like California burritos. I LOVE Aztlan's California...
