Excellent food! Tri tip, ribs, chicken were great! Loved the rub & the sauces to go with them. Also, the sides were great! I had the Carolina Cole slaw, Mac n cheese, beans, stew & potatoes. 100% recommended all of it! The guy i spoke with was friendly, he gave suggestions since it was my first time visiting and I was not disappointed. Great price for the portion sizes you get!

Had the pulled pork sandwich, it was cold and the pepper jack cheese they added was hard and not melted in the slightest. The pulled pork was also not melt in your mouth, not even close. The smoked Mac and cheese was Luke warm, bland and I didn’t detect any smoke flavor whatsoever. I decided to try this place because it had such great reviews. Pretty disappointing for me

The Bootleggers were at the Chico High football games tonight so we got the pulled pork, the tri tip and the chicken thigh combos. With smoked Mac and cheese and garlic smashed potato. Super good! I made it to my last bite before getting bbq sauce on my white shirt.

We have been visiting the food truck for a few years. We were never, ever, disappointed. The food is smoked to perfection. The Mac&cheese is to die for. The cook is the best with Smoked BBQ we have eaten. Hands down our favorite. The cook has mastered his spices. When we come thru Chico it is our dinner, take home all the time. The desserts are delicious. Looking forward to the next time.
