Excellent food! Tri tip, ribs, chicken were great! Loved the rub & the sauces to go with them. Also, the sides were great! I had the Carolina Cole slaw, Mac n cheese, beans, stew & potatoes. 100% recommended all of it! The guy i spoke with was friendly, he gave suggestions since it was my first time visiting and I was not disappointed. Great price for the portion sizes you get!

Had the pulled pork sandwich, it was cold and the pepper jack cheese they added was hard and not melted in the slightest. The pulled pork was also not melt in your mouth, not even close. The smoked Mac and cheese was Luke warm, bland and I didn’t detect any smoke flavor whatsoever. I decided to try this place because it had such great reviews. Pretty disappointing for me

Came in to town for groceries and took a chance on this nearby stop, which paid off far better than we could have imagined. Got the combo platter and found the rubs to be so good on the ribs, tri-tip, and chicken to be so good we skipped out on the sauces. Sides were also excellent- loved the beans especially. Portions were more than generous enough to make a whole extra meal when we got back home. Very friendly proprietor too!

I love this Bar-B-Q. They call this place Bootleg and I take it seriously. I ask for my big order with the combination meats and sauces to a point that I end up taking a lot home and adding to their meat and reheating as I enjoyed it to the end. The Bar-B-Q of Chico and far.

The food here is amazing! I'm addicted. I order the rib combo plate with Mac and cheese and garlic smashed potatoes. My sauce choice is the BBQ. I also order the pork chop, which is gigantic, and have the owner chop it My sauce choice is the very tasty horseradish cream sauce. All for $19.50 and enough for 3 meals. This is a wonderful value and a big treat! I highly recommend anyone to eat here!!! The owner is a super nice guy also

Everything I've had from here has been great! The pulled pork sandwich is typically made with a mustard sauce instead of bbq sauce which was really interesting, but tasty! The garlic smashed potatoes are delicious too. The man working was incredibly kind, and I'll definitely be coming back!

Really solid BBQ spot. Nice staff and great food. Easy to pass by without noticing. Located in the church parking lot. They have seats available, just ask if they are locked up.
