I love Burger Hut! My husband and I have been enjoying this restaurant as long as I can remember. My last experience with customer service was not great though. I came in at 6:45p and was promptly informed that they closed at 7, so I better only have a to-go order. I waited maybe 8 min and someone else walked out and asked if they could help me. I said I was waiting for my order. Nothing happened. I waited and ended up canceling my order because it did not seem like they cared about it. I understand that workers have lives too and want to go home when it's time to quit. But please don't take my order if you're not going to fulfill it.

Really not what I was hoping it would be. First time here, really long and slow lines. Prices were a bit high for what you get. The seasoned fries were pretty good. I don't really think anyone in our group liked what we got very much. If you do get the ghost pepper burger, my husband said it does have quite the kick. He said he was lucky he couldn't taste the rest of the burger lol.

Wonderful!! Burger Hut gives you all the elements needed to help create the BEST BURGER. You can start with a fairly basic burger, belly up to the bar and add all the condiments and extras you desire. Fresh slices of tomato, crisp lettuce, several kinds of peppers, condiments, and pickles. My burger was a masterpiece!! The right amount of everything and extra sweet pickles! The sauces dripped out on my fries which made them just perfect, too. All the flavors I was nostalgic for from my college days and friendly service!

Used to be so good! But now...now it's just bad. First, it's expensive. Three combos and an extra basket of tots was $67! That's crazy. Second, two of our combos came with salad. The salad bar wasn't stocked, the food wasn't to temp. Third, the place is HOT inside. Fourth, the burgers are awful. Like AWFUL. McDonald's has better seasoned burgers than we got here. If it wasn't for the "secret sauce," the food would taste like nothing. Staff just milling around instead of clearing tables or stocking condiment/salad bar. No flavor. Oh. And burgers so undercooked they are cold in the middle. So many other places to go in Chico. Skip this one and try somewhere else.

Just fyi. My husband and I eat here often. Tonight was the first time our burger and fries SUCKED. Bun was cold and fries weren't hot. Had to ask for lettuce and tomatoes to be stocked. I guess it was more important to get out for Halloween than give patrons a good dinner.
