I got a pumpkin spice chai latte and a pumpkin scones with maple frosting. Its was SO delicious and very affordable. Great service, drinks and food!

Friendly and welcoming employees. I quite enjoy their iced “morning buzz” or “vanilla nut” all it needs for me is a splash of oat milk. Their burritos are locally sourced and good. Tuesdays are great for double stamps towards a free coffee.

Awesome staff, friendly, good coffee. On my way to shoot a wedding at the Palms. So needed a pick me up.

The owner and his wife went out of their way to make sure I got the proper beans no matter how nerdy my request got. Would highly recommend anyone that's into custom stuff or has lots of questions go check them out

The service is really slipping here. Food not warmed well, waiting ages for my coffee drink when there is no one in the shop. Used to be much better.

Can't give any stars for the food didn't try it. Have good strong coffee though. I'm from out of town and they had a 50 percent off deal online. They usually take a second for shop orders to go through, but he said I could order it and grab it off the shelves. Friendly people very communicative and seemed knowledgeable. Had a great chat and felt very welcome. Knoe they are clean too as when I went in they were cleaning the roaster machines so that tells me they aren't gonna have your roast mix in with the rest of the old roast.

Love this place. Great coffee & food, super friendly staff, great ownership, chill place to hang out or get some work done on the laptop.

I ordered online so I can’t rate the physical shop. I bought the organic Ethiopian coffee. It arrived very quickly, the packaging is attractive, and the pouch is even resealable! The coffee is incredibly aromatic and richly tasty. I actually used way too much on my first brew because it is so rich. I am very happy all around and highly recommend Cal Java Roasters. :)

Favorite place in Chico! Super friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend 10/10 times. Roasted on site. Having organic and fair trade options are a plus for me. Lots of help when I inquired about which roast suited me and my coffee needs. Went with the Mocha Java. Tried the Hammer time iced with 2 pumps of coconut. Also have an adorable area when you walk in for personal gift ideas. ??

I buy all of my beans from Cal Java. They have the best coffee options and their roasts are consistent and delicious. We love seeing the roaster in action and smelling the coffee beans in process. Cal Java coffee is an every day event in our home , whether the daily drip for me of Vanilla Nut or the weekend full pot of something a bit bolder for my husband! We highly recommend.
