as a uber eats driver , great manners , nice staff , and offer of a free coffee (thanks) so I tried it for myself , wonderful food can't fault it :-) my favourite local Independent, maybe consider this before ordering mcshite on uber eats eh ...
I'm really picky about chai tea and all of these are amazing! I also had to contact them about a discount code I had forgotten to use and they couldn't have been nicer about it. Highly recommend!
Cool place!
Cool place!
Each one has been good and the staff always knows exactly what is in each chai blend. It's great to get that information when you have food allergies.
We visited last year on a tasting day. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and we spent a good hour tasting and talking about tea, spices, and roasting. We would definitely visit again if we find ourselves in Chico.
I LOVE Chico Chai! This is where they make it. It's not really open to the public for the most part but once a month they do a tasting which I guess is spread by word of mouth and also on their website. They had delicious little cookies and exotic bites from "untamed" which was an excellent addition. The environment is unassuming and has a small industrial feel to it. There is an attempt at a somewhat presentable store front but you can tell it's not really what this space is for usually. It reminded me of having a birthday party in a converted classroom. The staff was both professional and knowledgeable about the various teas and you could tell she really enjoyed drinking tea like myself. She pointed out the tea tree in room and explained the spices and different types of teas and where they came from. I found it as interesting as my daughter found the cookie table. I'll probably come back here again with friends when I run out of the tea I bought here!
First tried Chico Chai at the Real Food Fair in Oakland. It was love at first sip! I'm looking to replenish my "Golden Turmeric" stash. Can you please tell me where I can find it? Thank you for your high quality and mighty tasty tea!
Great "tour" of Chai history and the various types of tea! I always look forward to the monthly tastings when there are baked goods and specialty Chai beverages available to try! Wonderful experience to bring friends to. I'm definitely going to one of the Chai workshops so I can make my own blend and bring it home with me!
I was never a big fan of Chai until I tried Chico Chai's original Chico Chai. Oh yeah, it was a slammer. I'm hooked. I can drink up to a gallon a day, but typically limit myself to half a gallon which is quite the challenge I must say. I like it best with a splash of milk, any time of day..all day. Chico Chai makes me happy. Thank you!

Seriously the best chai I've ever had! Doesn't hurt that this business is owned and operated by some of the best people! I highly recommend
I love the taste of Chico Chai's Chai tea so much! I get a chai tea with almond milk from their booth at the farmer's market every Saturday, and seek out places in town that use Chico Chai when I get cravings during the week. It has the perfect flavor. It's like you can taste the love they put into making it.
Just got my first cup of Chico chai at Coffee Works in Sacramento. New favorite commercial chai. Not overly sweet, not too heavy on cinnamon, nicely spiced! Love it!
It's not really a cafe, this is the brewing center for Chico Chai. But you can go to Baccio next door & enjoy a cup.
