From the moment we walked in to the time we left the staff was very friendly. It quickly got busy around 6:30 pm with every table full & people waiting to be seated. The restaurant sign says seats 64. The restaurant was clean and inviting. There is a wine & beer list as well as the regular soda menu, Thai tea and a couple other offerings We enjoyed yellow curry, Genghis Khan chicken that came with a health sized portion of jasmin rice to share. We took leftovers home. Food came out quick. The only negative is I ordered a glass of wine & my son a sprite that never came.

A Chico icon that rivals some of the best Thai food in the country. I've been eating here for decades, and the food has remained delicious and consistent. I feel incredibly lucky to have Joy and her staff in our little corner of the world.Dietary restrictions: I can't eat wheat or milk, and i can order nearly the entire menu.

I always get the same thing, hearty vegetable and tofu fried rice. It is the best fried rice I've ever had, so delicious! I've tried other items, which were okay, but this dish is bomb. They use seasonal vegetables which can vary slightly but the overall same great taste is consistent every time. Highly recommend!

Wonderful staff! Beautiful dining area, sometimes can get a bit loud due to how closely everyone is sat. The food is always perfect! They have never messed up an order or given any reason to send anything back. Best Thai food in Chico, hands down! They are unfortunately closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and have specific lunch & dinner open times. But it's always an amazing experience, whether dining in or calling for it to go.

We ordered online for takeout and it was ready as promised. The food did not disappoint- everything was delicious and everything was eaten: we had enough for 2 dinners and lunch. We'll be back. Our new favorite was the eggplant dish with cardamom! Try their food it's terrific.

Cocodine Thai Cuisine has its devotees that lavishes high praises to the place. Was even listed on an obviously misguided list as a top pick for restaurants in Chico. With such impressive credentials, and with our naivety that tends to believe what we read, we ventured on a very special Sunday to this some what hiding locale with high hopes for a positive memorable evening dinner. Sadly it was not to be at all. Food ordered: Spinach Wraps with Shrimp, $11. Plate arrived with Spinach leaves in a circular platter with small sections for us to prepare as our waitress helpfully described as Thai Tacos. The shrimp was dried tiny pieces in such small amount that we knew we had been misguided by the title. Fixings included corn, red onions, lime wedges, ginger, toasted coconut bits, jalapeño and peanuts, with a little container of their secret recipe ginger-herb sauce. Sounds enticing? Not at all, not a made wrap we were supposed to do our own mix of a decidedly overly expensive nonsense. Appetizer was rejected immediately. 1 Star. Titanic Soup, $10. Combination seafood: shrimp, scallops, salmon in a hot and sour broth. Blended harmoniously is what it said, but broth was lemony, not hot and sour, and nothing like the photo, still managed to be the better of the order, which was not all that impressive. 3 Stars. Phuket Island (the "h" is silent) at $19 each. Jumbo sea scallop and shrimp pan fried with red bell peppers, green beans and onions in mild yellow curry reduction. Sounds good? Not at all. The curry covered the food, and it was probably the sweetest curry I've ever had the misfortune to try. The Jumbo Scallop was small to medium, and mostly butchered into even smaller pieces. Very little of it. The shrimp the exact one offered on the Titanic soup small to medium, a real downer of a dish covered with sweet curry. They should have saved the sugar for their own which I am almost convinced they would not eat. Their Jasmine rice could have fooled me, but that's what they called it. 1.5 Stars. Water served the best of what came to the table. So this is the big honcho? Top pick? Total with gratuity $60, not charged for the ridiculously Spinach wrap, which was anything but. The place busy at 95% capacity, staff prompt and nice. Yes, sorry to say I disagree with those that bestowed greatness to Cocodine. 2 Stars.

Best Thai food and service in town! I love so many dishes from here. Especially the Red Curry Chicken and Chicken Satay.
