The best coffee shop in Chico. I always enjoy coming here and have been for several years now.- properly made, tasty espresso drinks- they roast their own beans- friendly, smiling staff (who look like they get along and enjoy working there)- great aesthetics, high ceilings, a variety of seating, which is good for socializing or more isolated studying spaces- good music! (underrated feature)- dog-friendly- fun variety of food, and beer on tap- easy parkingChico has several bad (not mediocre... bad) coffee shops, some of which don't check any of the above boxes, so I am glad Daycamp exists! I hope the owners can open up more locations.

Really LOUD. Noisy. Chairs are horribly uncomfortable. Not much assortment of goodies, I didn't see anything to eat that appealed. Not for me.

Didn't get any food here.My brother turned me onto this place. I live in Orland, so it's a long ways to go for a cup of coffee. But I do grind my own beans so I'm always looking for a good bean roast.I like my coffee black no sugar or cream. I don't mind bitter but I don't like acidic. (Some would use the word "astringent")Their coffee beans are something like $17 for a 12oz bag. And it took my brother some convincing for me to try it.I bought the basic house blend. For context, I use a Vario grinder with it at a "J6 grind". And then put the grinds through my "Cleaver". I don't steep the coffee... They sit in there for maybe 15 seconds. The house blend was not tasty to me. I had 2 more cups and simply don't like it.But instead of giving up on them I went back and bought their dark roast, "Black Rock". I'm happy I did. It's pretty darn delicious.

The Costa Rica was great at the shop so my wife and I had to get a bag for ourselves. It’s just as good brewed at home too! Well done!

Coffee is expensive and mediocre. Everything else is good. Lots of seating. Has an upstairs and downstairs. This place is busy, so expect a line.

Good food and coffee, but they don’t have a very good system set up for service because it’s always a long wait even there aren’t a lot of people there. I’ve waited 20 min for a

Great coffee. Tried to go twice this week. Line way to long, too few employees. The employees "just hangin around". No sense of urgency . Took my business else where. Disappointed. Sign of the times I guess.

We visited on a drizzly Sunday morning before the local farmers market opened. Our order was quickly taken and the employee at the counter helped us by explaining a few menu items. The shop is clean and spacious pretty quiet for a Sunday morning. We ordered the Americano and a specialty latte (can't remember which one). Our order was quickly prepared and they both were great. There was plenty of empty tables during our visit. Definitely want to try some of the other menu items.

Nice atmosphere, good drinks, plenty of seating - this place defines the modern standard for a hip coffee shop. People were having meetings, working remote, and chatting with friends. Lively vibe in a great location.
