Left about an hour ago. Sat for quite some time at the bar and I was never served. The bartender and I looked at each other a few times. I had money out and ready, but the bartender never came over. It wasn't busy either.

Just left, and wont be back. Sat at the bar for 10-15 mins, and I was never asked if I wanted anything. Bartender made eye contact with my wife and I several times. I took out my card to signal that we were ready. Nothing. We just took the hint and left. Idk what their problem was.

This subterranean neighbor bar and poolhall is one of my Chico favorites. It's not fancy and it's not trying to be. A great hangout spot to people watch, grab a few drinks and some good grub. Pool, darts, music and good service. The food is good. Very well made bar fare. The best corn dogs in town. Bartenders are exactly what you'd expect in a joint like. It's an easy place to be for a casual hangout with friends.

My favorite bar by far in NorCal and Chico lovely bartenders, amazing food and great atmosphere. Would suggest they get new dart boards but that’s the only detail I can note.

Typical old Chico bar with pool tables, seated tables, and a bar. It was an 8 minute walk from my hotel, and was one of the few places nearby still serving food at 11pm on a Friday. I asked if I could sit at an open table, but they cost $8/hr to "rent". Sitting at the bar was free, so the bar it was. Got a double Bourbon and their "flautas". No joke the flautas had Caesar dressing on them. I got through two of the three and stopped. The male bartender was pretty dry and didn't give two sh!ts. The tatted up female bartender was cool. Yeah, these flautas were pretty bad. Some of the worst I've had.
