Sadly I don’t like their Decaf beans. They have the slightly sour flavor that is not uncommon in small roasters. It can be fine with lots of sugar but I don’t like to use it in my coffee.

I just can’t say enough good things about Equilateral & the amazing people who own it 🫶🏻 They always remember that my partner likes a sip lid & that I prefer a straw, even though we have never actually told them this, or told them which of us drinks what. They just always know! This personal touch is just one of a million reasons why we love them & why we drive 30 minutes each way to get their coffee on the weekends. I was a barista for 6 years so I know quality when I taste it, and they are never lacking! Between all of this and their commitment to community, inclusion, and equality, they are hands down the best coffee shop in Chico ❤️

Equilateral is the best coffee shop in Chico in my opinion! The coffee is so so good-I wish I could have it every day! Plus the owners are incredibly sweet and just seem like real gems of human beings. It’s a lovely place to also view some art or plants with the gallery and plant store.

An absolute gem of a coffee shop! One of my favorites in Chico. Local owners are always working behind the counter and are the sweetest! They always have unique new syrups for their lattes and fresh pastries. The coffee business is located inside a neat little art gallery too, which is a plus! I enjoy taking a minute or two to take in the art while sipping my coffee. Definitely give them a visit!
