Esplanade location:
I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service at this location. Today 3 employees failed to greet or acknowledge me. I called in my order and gave them ample time. It was also well after the lunch rush. only 5 customers were in the restaurant (they all were seated eating). No one in line. I didn’t receive a hello I’ll be with you shortly. Nothing. I waited for a bit . I only received a response after I said hello . And the response was less than friendly. I was a bother. How dare I ask for my phone order. While I understand delays during busy periods, it is unacceptable to be ignored in an empty shop.

Don't bother coming if it's after 2:30. They said they weren't making sandwiches anymore which is ridiculous they don't close till three. Not a place that really wants your business anymore since they sold it.

I picked up two loaves of bread for a garden club luncheon. They were great. Both had a variety of unusual flavors and grains while maintaining a delicious flavor balance.

Never again going to GREAT HARVEST on Esplanade next to East Lassen; in my life again, EVER. I have never experienced such a horrible experience at a BREAD place. & if you know me personally, I’m a really nice person unless you do something to ME. Anyway, they’re extremely rude and I will never ever go back to that place. Ever. Makes me sick even thinking about the guy who treated me and my bf so badly 🥹🩵 now relaxing with my man and watching a movie at home. F*ck that dude fr 😤😤 Great Harvest Bread Chico ‼️😭🤯🤬

I’m not one to complain often and I’ve held off on making this review but this is the 5th time I’ve come to the mangrove location and each and every time I’ve had terrible customer service. I work in the service industry and know that’s it not hard to even put a smile on your face… I get it we have bad days, we get tired, and annoyed but each customer deserves a good experience and I haven’t been getting that here. I’m a paying customer that genuinely likes the food here but unfortunately regular human decency is more important to me. I won’t be returning to this location and I hope managerial staff can make customer service more important for their new AND returning customers!

Wish they had a customer bathroom. Great place to get coffee and pastry before work, opens at 6. Plenty of parking.Use the alley to exit, Mangrove is busy and bushes block view.
We love cinnaburst bread and all other things from Great Harvest. They are courteous and helpful and make phone transactions seamless. Highly recommend.
