I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service at this location. Today 3 employees failed to greet or acknowledge me. I called in my order and gave them ample time. It was also well after the lunch rush. only 5 customers were in the restaurant (they all were seated eating). No one in line. I didn’t receive a hello I’ll be with you shortly. Nothing. I waited for a bit . I only received a response after I said hello . And the response was less than friendly. I was a bother. How dare I ask for my phone order. While I understand delays during busy periods, it is unacceptable to be ignored in an empty shop.

I have been a customer of Great Harvest for many years, visiting the Esplanade and Forest Ave locations for my scone and coffee each morning before work and to purchase bread and other goodies. I had a bad experience with service at Forest Ave, January 6th at 1 pm. i arrived first was asked to wait a moment I stood there waiting to be helped then two separate people came in after me and they jumped to help them one after the other as I stood there waiting to be helped. When I was finally helped after reminding them i had been waiting. I purchased two loafs of bread two scones and a cinnamon roll and they forgot to put the cinnamon roll in the bag and had to return to ask for it. After all that I still gave a 15% tip that they did not deserve. Worst service ever and definitely did not feel welcomed or comfortable so I will not be returning.

What a cozy place to meet and catch up with friends. We met for coffee and i was treated to a wonderful cinnamon bread with cherries and white chocolate. Absolutely wonderful flavor combination with just the right amount of sweet! We were able to converse at a low level even though the establishment was busy. Large variety of baked goods for your selection, by the slice or buy a loaf.😁 They also ship so sent some as Christmas treats!

Ordered online and waited quite awhile for the cashier to finish socializing to get to my order. This was the first ti.e happening to me, but definitely left me feeling unseen. Sandwich was not up to standard either.

We have been ordering from here a lot lately and it's usually good. However I learned the hard way today that they are not cleaning the nozzles on the soda machines very well. There was a chunk of mild in my cup as a former food service worker I know the most likely culprit is the nozzles.

Good place to get breakfast rolls and other healthy pastries. Coffee choices are available. Loaves of fresh baked bread. Sticky bun w/ pecans or without. Limited amount of seating.

The chicken salad sandwich with walnuts and cranberries is the best sandwich I have had in years and HUGE for the price...two meals worth!
Relatively small selection of pastries but got a really delicious lemon blueberry muffin. Lots of bread selections, got a loaf of wheat bread that was super tasty. Sorry I missed Chico Crunch bread, sounded amazing but only baked on Tuesday & Friday. Did not try meal selections.

Never again going to GREAT HARVEST on Esplanade next to East Lassen; in my life again, EVER. I have never experienced such a horrible experience at a BREAD place. & if you know me personally, I’m a really nice person unless you do something to ME.
