Good place to get breakfast rolls and other healthy pastries. Coffee choices are available. Loaves of fresh baked bread. Sticky bun w/ pecans or without. Limited amount of seating.

The chicken salad sandwich with walnuts and cranberries is the best sandwich I have had in years and HUGE for the price...two meals worth!

Relatively small selection of pastries but got a really delicious lemon blueberry muffin. Lots of bread selections, got a loaf of wheat bread that was super tasty. Sorry I missed Chico Crunch bread, sounded amazing but only baked on Tuesday & Friday. Did not try meal selections.
I come here with my friend and always experience a relaxing time with a good meal. The service is always pleasant and helpful

Ordered online for delivery. Was missing half of my order, called the store and told them however they refused to compensate me. They have been messing up a lot on orders as of late. Unfortunately that will be my last time ordering from this place.
Never again going to GREAT HARVEST on Esplanade next to East Lassen; in my life again, EVER. I have never experienced such a horrible experience at a BREAD place. & if you know me personally, I’m a really nice person unless you do something to ME. Anyway, they’re extremely rude and I will never ever go back to that place. Ever. This is the second time the staff forgot about me. Now I usually give a place a second chance but today was it. The first time, I placed order for pickup and then arrived and told them who I was. They said they needed a bit more time and I said cool. 10-15 minutes later and after other people got their order, I'm like....hey where's my order ? The order was ready but they just forgot me sitting there waiting ? When I got home, one of the sandwiches wasn't warmed and there was no bacon on my other sandwich.
They are usually nice and very good about my orders plus I liked it more than Starbucks but then today....same thing. Got there...no one else was waiting for food. Told them I was picking up and they needed a little more time...okay cool. 10 minutes later....2 other people come in and get their orders and leave and I'm like...uh...where's my order...forgot about me again. Come on man. I'm not in the corner somewhere...I'm in front of the pay counter. I like this place but I'm not about to wait to be forgotten again.

A simple sandwich come on I didn’t like the attitude of the employees quite rude I’m the type of person trying to help small business to keep going but with a nasty attitude I’m sorry I can’t go places like that

I was a regular customer, but today I will no longer go here.
I will say, some employees are very kind and attentive. I gave an extra star to acknowledge that.
I have had a really frustrating time because of many employees who blatantly ignore me, or just are really slow.
I do understand that in a small town things are a lot slow paced than LA which I moved here from. Rather than attentively helping me, they rather be chatty, and make sandwiches while I was standing there at the register waiting to order my chai. After being ignored for about 5 minutes
I said “Hello?”
They said they will get to me and proceeded making sandwiches for several more minutes.
Very frustrated I said, “Are you going to help me?”
Then they called a girl from the back room, and I feel so sorry for her. I will say since maybe she will read that it wasn’t her fault.
I called the manager afterwords after feeling furious. I have two sons and I can’t spend 15 minutes to wait for them to waste time.
Since I have had so many days of this happening to me I will no longer be going here daily or ever again.
Trying to find a way, since I really love their cafe drinks, I decided to do order pick up.
The second day, I called and the worker did not even know that they make chai lattes. She asked me if I called the wrong place. WOW.
I will thank those who actually know how to work in customer service. But I ask the management to address this to the employees because you have lost me and I’m sure I won’t be the last they you have lost.
I advise those who are ignoring customers, being chatty and wasting time, to remember that the customer ALWAYS comes first. Keep that in mind and start to prioritize the customer first ALWAYS!

I have eaten here for years but recently had a horrible experience. It was a half an hour before their close time and they had a sign up, no bread cannot make sandwiches. Ok I tried to order a salad and I was told they had put everything away. With a half an hour to close you can't take out what you put away to make what I ordered during your business hours? Young people working in need of supervision....
