Hula's Chinese Bar-B-Q

Hula's barbecue was the bomb. unfortunately this virus is taken out our best Chinese BBQ in Chico ,they are no longer open .we can only hope that someday they reopen their doors for us they are gratefully missed.

LOVE this place!! I heard they're closing for good. Anyone know if thsts true?

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I must say the service is always excellent and they keep the place neat all the time. Rates are reasonable and they serve large portions.

Would give zero stars if possible. Food is ridiculously overpriced and not very good. Wait staff is terrible at their job, and management sucks. Definitely will Never go back.

Delicious food, prompt service. I dont feel bloated after eating, and im not hungry an hour later like most foods like this. So i know its good quality. Their soup is amazing too.

Great restaurant, good service, delicious food. This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. They have so many choices to add to your bowl, and it’s always fun watching them cook it on the open grill. Don’t be afraid to pile on the noodles, vegetables, and sauces. Hulas is excellent for leftovers. Your meal includes rice, soup, and wontons. You can eat there or take it to go.

Teppanyaki style restaurant. The choices in meat, veggies, and sauce, were good. The cooks did a good job of keeping the line moving pretty quick and the service there was also good. I’d go again

Been going here for years. Always a crowd pleaser. You can tell who is a regular by how tall the bowl gets. I do wish this location had the trays as you are building your bowl so when something falls off it’s not gone forever. Word of advice, you can never put in too much sauce. Thank you Hulas for being consistently amazing for the 10 years my husband and I have been coming here.

Delicious food as always, considering I made it! Who could complain if it doesn't come out how they like it?

Good Mongolian food. The restaurant name says Chinese restaurant, but it is not Chinese food by any means. They employ a great business strategy but displaying a variety of food to choose from, but once you pick up the bowl with comparatively smaller size to fit it all, it won't fit everything that they have there. It's funny but overall everything is good.
