The Chico Roll was fantastic! My Mother 's ramen bowl was HUGE! The tempura vegetables were perfect. (not too heavy or greasy) The service was timely and the food was brought out quickly. The atmosphere is more relaxed. The prices were on par with other sushi restaurants. I'd recommend them to anyone who used to frequent Japanese Blossom (it's in the same location) the dishes were all beautifully presented and everything tasted great!?

We had a great experience tonight! Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Sushi rolls were large, well priced, and delicious. If you like spicy tuna make sure you ask for it extra spicy. It was fairly mild (but still yummy!) Great night! The staff were friendly and attentive to my toddler which was so sweet to see. We will be back!
Kid-friendliness: They brought a booster seat over right when we came in. They served my daughters roll on a wooden plate instead of glass. They were very sweet and accommodating to her.

Ikkyu lived up to other reviews. The Sushi was fresh and visually appealing. There was a perfect blend of flavors, none over powering the others.
The atmosphere was great. Clean and Cozy. Service was great as well. Will definitely be back. So glad North Chico is getting some more nice restaurants!! Let's show our support!!

As I entered, I was struck by the impressive ambiance and warmly welcomed by the server. The sushi chef then skillfully prepared my ordered Sunset Roll and Chico Roll to perfection.I would highly recommend Ikkyu to anyone that enjoys japanese food as well as great costumer service.

We ordered several rolls. The seaweed had a slight fishy flavor, none of the rolls were great, but the veggie one had rotten lettuce in it. I had higher hopes for this restaurant, it seems like nice people but we won’t be back.

My children and granddaughter came up from the bay area to visit. We decided to come here for dinner. It took an hour to get my roll and my son's. We finished ours before my daughter got hers. My son in law got his 15 min later. 10 min after that my daughter in law got hers. An hour and 20 min and my granddaughter still had not got her chicken. I had to take our glasses up to the counter to get refills of water an hour after we got there. We finally decided to just cancel my granddaughters order of chicken and get the bill. We also had to take that up to them. There was only 4 other people in the place, so they weren't busy.

Good sushi for a good value. The rolls are mostly standard styles, and they have several non sushi options like ramen and combo plates. I had the sushi burrito, which they do wrapped in rice paper which I quite liked. The portion size was a bit smaller than I expected, but with an appetizer I was satisfied. Friendly, clean place. I recommend it over Big Tuna (and all their locations) for solid Japanese fare.

I got the Special Tina Roll, very tasty. For those of you who like spicy, this doesn't hit the mark but is very tasty all the same. Not drowned in sauces, which made me happy. I ordered some nigiri (albacore, tuna, unagi), which came out very fast. They come in single pieces, not in pairs like everywhere else does it. To me, there was a very off flavor that seemed to be universal between the 3, so I'm thinking it was the rice. Either way, it wasn't appetizing. Lastly, the tried and true pork pot stickers. Can't go wrong there. All in all, I paid $49 for everything, including a can of Sprite.
The staff was very nice from greeting at the door to seeing me off.
They do need to liven the place up a bit. It's very quiet and honestly a bit depressing.
Don't go in expecting Japanese Blossom.
