This was the first time I have been here and I can definitely say I would gladly go back! I ordered the spinach ravioli with meat sauce, they also have vegetarian sauce if you aren't a meat eater, and it was wonderful. It came with a basket of fresh garlic bread that was cooked to perfection. Crunchy exterior, soft interior. If you have never tried the food here I would recommend stopping in. I wasn't disappointed and hope you aren't either.

Beats the stuffin out of Olive Garden! Not sure if its the best in Chico because i haven't had others, but the cottage set the bar pretty high for when i do experience the others

Atmosphere and staff gets 5 stars, as usual! We love the Italian Cottage. As far as value on my entree, I don't feel like my shrimp scampi was worth 17.25, and that was a dinner special. I got 7 shrimp with a huge bowl of pasta, the shrimp was very tasty but I felt like the dish needed salt and more seasoning in general.

I admire this spot! They prepare awesome food, they have a rich menu, The chef in that place is a real authority in the kitchen, I enjoy very much tasting all their food. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is helpful. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it to all.

I only go here for minestrone soup and a pastrami sandwich both of which were good. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Dont really dig the atmosphere kinda dark and the booths are hard.
Lots of good choices on the menu, although I have my favorites meals that I usually go to. What stands out for me is the low background noise. If you have problems picking conversations out of the background noise, you might want to gather up your friends and come here.
