Kona’s is the absolute best!! Every time me and my boyfriend come here, we feel so welcomed. The owner (I believe?) is incredibly kind and makes you feel at home. The food is also delicious, hands down the best sandwich shop in Chico. They also have different soups that are equally as tasty.
I can't say enough about this place. I went in today to get my favorite sub. The tri-tip. It's wonderful. I was offered to try the soup and agreed. Clam chowder or broccoli and cheese. I mentioned that I don't like chowder but as he described the chowder (his Moms recipie.) When he said bacon and not a lot of clam juice I agreed to try it. So it was so delicious I bought clam chowder for tge first time in my life. I'm 61 years old. I will buy it again. Wonderful...
Great people working there, the owner and the other people working there for very nice and spoke with you as if they knew you. The sandwich was very good as well, made with thick slices of meat.
