The best sandwich shop in Chico by far. I love this place and how freindly everyone is. They make top notch sandwiches - do yourself a favor and get the destroyer on onion bread with peppercionnis. The fact that there is a subway right next door is an insult to sandwiches, and I'm surprised it hasn't just naturally gone out of business yet. Konas is the way to go. Especially if you like soups and onion bread. Freaking good.
The wife and I came in for lunch on a Tuesday and were greeted right away even by the Owner Dave! They gave us a few samples and we ordered it all! They smoke the tri tip, and the pastrami is made fresh. Pasta is also made fresh. We will be coming back here again!
Huge thank you to the owner for accommodating a last minute large order for an office birthday party. Food was delicious and everyone was very full. We will make sure to order the party subs next time!
