My wife rates the Quesabirria tacos here as number 1 in Chico ca. We have had them from Sacramento to Redding and no beats them in this category. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The prices are on point. I highly recommend this restaurant. FYI we drive 40 minutes just to eat here.
As a Mexican myself, I do not recommend these Birria tacos. I came because of all the previous good reviews this place had but unfortunately it was not as expected. Meat had no flavor, had a lot though but just wasn't good. La agua de horchata también no estaba buena. For white people it's prolly good to them but for us Mexicans no lo recomiendo.

First visit and really happy with my meal. Had the birria tacos with whole black beans and rice. Unlike some taquerias and Mexican restaurants this food tastes like someone's mama made it at home. The beef in the tacos was fresh tasting and so tender - no fat. The consume was flavorful and not over salted like some places. Plus its in a handy, easy to get to location. All in all a nice experience and I'll be back.

Ordered a burrito said no onions about 5 times while ordering, made it very clear I didn't want onions, took one bite that was about 50% onion and had to spit it out because I'm allergic this is the second time I've had this experience here
