Don’t typically do reviews on businesses but my experience rubbed me the wrong way. I had asked this company to do my wedding cake, got confirmed prices, and confirmed that we would have to meet to pick it up since there is no storefront anymore. I asked if there was still tasting appts available and I didn’t get a response for over 2 weeks so I had emailed again, to which I got the response that she had to cancel making my cake (for a wedding 3 months from now) and was now unavailable because she booked “a trailer gig that would keep her busier that weekend”. Would not recommend.

I don’t usually make reviews but I had to make an exception for these guys. Where do I start. So I’m a foreigner who unfortunately gets food poisoning or can’t keep down most foods from places here. I tried their Chipotle Chicken with Bacon and not only was it very good, it stayed down and did not upset my stomach. I had to give a thumbs up. I’ve travelled the world and only a few places out here have good food and do not upset my stomach. 100 percent recommend. Thank you guys

I feel bad for not remembering her name, but the girl behind the counter with glasses and cute hair is always super friendly and nice. Service is quick, food is amazing and the cafe itself is so cute. Love to leave little doodles on the chalk board.

Found this gem of a bakery while putting together a 50th Birthday party for my Sister-in-law. I chose a Hawaiian theme for her party and placed a call to Lovely Layers and spoke with Emily.
Ordered the cake and had it delivered to a local restaurant along with some delicious lemon cupcakes. The cake was so delicious and moist. The guests were ranting about the cake and wanted to know where I got it. Emily is wonderful to work with and will provide cake/cupcake stands if you need them (nice touch). You will love Lovely layers!

Emily the owner brought lunch to a family in Chico along with fresh made lemonade and a stunning 4 layer lemon supreme cake. They were delighted and enjoyed every bite. I’ve ordered my wedding cake, 30th birthday cake, and cupcakes from here now and every single time, they have been executed perfectly and are SO delicious. The strawberry cheese cake and the chocolate espresso flavors were so good but the chocolate raspberry cream was AMAZING! I can’t recommend this place enough!
