From the colorful and cultural atmosphere this establishment is spectacular! The creativity and the thought the owner put into this spot is very inspiring, making it one of a kind in Chico. Let me not even start to talk about the tacos omg, i plan to have them cater for my wedding AND funeral.

Fantastic food with a great price tag! Cute place tucked into the Pheonix building downtown with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend!

Food is not good. The fry grease on my finances taquitos tastes like fish and all the meat in my enchiladas have either fat or bone fragments and the rice on the side was gummy. The service was bare minimum okay. The only lady working didn’t really speak to us, a man got back from his break while we were trying to order and took our order for us but he still seemed disheveled. Atmosphere overall was really strange, the seating bled into the foyer of the building and all the decor looked like it came from dollar tree. Just a very strange experience over all. My fiancé and I got an enchilada and taquito plate; it was not worth the $32.

We love coming here, food is tasty and some interesting flavors and options. I tried the Papa Loca today and it was soooo good.

Extremely flavorful but with a level of quality that sets them apart from the trucks in town without being cantina food. Unique menu items, toasted burrito tortillas, handmade corn tortillas. They've got it all. Worth the couple extra bucks.
Oh, and their decor is so colorful and clean!

The atmosphere of this place is really traditional and very inviting! The flavor of the food is disappointing. There is nothing authentic about the Mexican food. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce, the sopes had no flavor, the beans had no flavor, the tacos were disappointing as well, and the homemade tortillas were plain. We loved the atmosphere and would love to see this place succeed. Hoping a little review will help.

The guacamole, although pricy ($11+), was very good. Salsa tasted like it was out of a jar with onions and cilantro added to it. The wet burrito was huge, and very spicy. Too bad the waitress didn't tell us that the burrito had the rice and beans in it; told her we wanted rice and beans and paid $6 for a side plate of rice and beans 🙄. The waitress was nice, but service was slow. Decor was fun.

Currently my favorite Mexican place in town. I've tried many of their entres and have enjoyed them all, especially the sopes, taquitos, and the mas amor tacos, the last of which are served with incredible house made tortillas. Chips and salsa are also a highlight. Highly recommend giving them a try.
