This is a cafe. Small meals. No large dinners where you take home extra.
Love the atmosphere, part of interior arcade with other businesses.
Sopes are homemade.
Asada was over cooked and salty.
Birria was perfect.
Guacamole appetizer had too many onions.
Iced tea tasted like fountain not brewed.
The green salsa with Taco was delicious.
There are three hot sauces on table. One is unlabeled and l think homemade. Use sparingly will rock your world.

It's kind of an awkward restaurant. We were unsure if we could seat ourselves or if we should wait to be seated, so we asked the person out front and she gave us two menus and told us to sit where we would like.
The music was really loud when we first got there, but then it was lowered to a reasonable leave without having to ask. The atmosphere was fun with lots of colorful lights.
The waitress was nice and took our order. We got their amore nachos and enchiladas with water to drink.
Price wise, the food is slightly more expensive than a taco truck, by a dollar or two. The food is visually appealing, and the food was seasoned perfectly. I got their nachos, and you can tell they make their own chips in house, but not all the chips were cooked all the way, so I got some half cooked chips that are hard to eat. My wife got the enchiladas, and It came with rice and whole pito beans. The beans were not fully cooked but were seasoned well. The rice was soggy, but my wife liked them. The enchiladas were great, but they piled on the lettuce and cotija cheese, so it took away from the enchiladas. After taking off all the toppings, it was really good.
I decided to get some horchata when we went to pay, and it was great. They really do kill it on the flavor. Sadly, they did not strain it, so it was real chunky towards the end of the drink, so that want great.
If you are not a texture person, the issues I have may not be an issue for you. I will say, we do plan to go back and try some different things, and to give them another try.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Masamor Mexican restaurant is hands down one of the best food experiences I've had! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Samantha, who is incredibly personable and welcoming. Her friendly attitude made the meal that much more enjoyable. The customer service is top-notch, and the food is absolutely phenomenal—full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and exceptional service. Will definitely be back!

This place is a great little spot where the old Sultans Bistro used to be inside the Phoenix building downtown. I had the chicken enchiladas, and they were delicious. They also had homemade hot sauce that was very good and spicy. To drink I had the pineapple horchata which was very refreshing. I'll definitely be going back.

Ordered 2 Quesadillas (One Chicken and one Asada). Both were very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Then I got 2 of their Staple "Mas Amor Tacos" told them to surprise me with meat choice. (Ended up with Birria and Chicken) both were amazing with their handcrafted Tortillas. You can taste the love they put into their passion here. For me, it's as close to perfect score as I can give. I'd say 14.8/15 total possible only because I wanted Pastor and they didn't have it for the day because it's so Popular. I'll get it next time and you can bet there will be a next time! Thanks Mas Amor for an amazing lunch. Can't wait to come back!

The food is excellent. The service is spot on, the decorations and serving ware is so awesome and cute. I had a carne asada burrito and the refried beans with chips for my meal. Everything has great flavor, it all came out piping hot and I was so very satisfied with everything. I've only been once but I will be back many times!

It takes a lot for me to leave a 5-star review of a Mexican restaurant, but Más Amor deserves it! I'm Mexican American and can taste authentic spice, the marinades, salsa, etc. Also, the hospitality is genuine. I will always get my Mexican food here when I'm in Chico.

OK? Food was a bit bland- in Chico I expect flavorful spicy Mexican food! Authentic stuff. Our group had various meats and different dishes, including a bean dip. All of it needed more seasoning and spice ?️?? no alcohol offered✨vibes were good- I like that it’s tucked inside across from Ben and Jerry’s. The brick street indoors gives a European feel??♂️ service was decent: promptly served the table, but we had to ask to be seated at the cash register then pay at the cash register. The person who rung us up didn’t remember what we ordered, even though he’s the one who took it. That’s unfortunate if people try to take advantage of them not remembering what to ring you up for.

Finally, a good Mexican restaurant. Beautiful Mystery, if you knew anything about Mexican food, you would know how authentic chips are. Great place to eat. Definitely the place for our family
