We have come here in the past and it is always good Thai food. It had been a while, and I was a bit disappointed they got rid of the lunch menu, but at least the portions match up to the prices of the regular menu well. Never had a bad experience at this restaurant and will continue to eat here in the future.

Wonderful experience here at Mekkala Thai Cuisine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our large party that stayed a while after they close. The Pineapple Fried Rice was phenomenal, and the portions were large enough to take some home. I've been to a few Thai places in town, but not yet Mekkala, and let me tell you, this will be my new go-to.

Talk about the friendliest host ever! The young man serving us was so kind. The food was amazing. One at our table had the pineapple fried rice and it looked amazing. One had the pad thai drama, one had the papaya salad, and I had the traditional pad thai with a little spice. Everything was fantastic! As we were leaving we thanked the young man, and told him everything was delicious! He said thank you, and that he'd let his mom know, since she was the one back there cooking. Omg, and the best part mine was gluten free!!! Absolutely amazing! I can't wait To go back.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options. I have celiac and had no reaction at all

The portions were small and it was more expensive than other Thai restaurants in town. There was zero presentation. Just a massive plop into a box, it was very unappealing. I love Thai food, and have wanted to try Mekkala for awhile. The flavor wasn't terrible, and there was plenty of spice even in the mild dishes. That was a relief, and the veggies in the stir fry were crisp. Really nice servers. I wouldn't eat here again though.

I decided to take my hubby for a late lunch. We were cheerfully greeted by a smiling young man, who led us to our table and took our drink order (water) after handing us menues.I asked of him his favorite dish, and he rhapsodized about an Eggplant Dish (which I ultimately ordered, Thai Hot). Soon, the server arrived and took our orders. (He is the owners' son.) Hubby had the Red Curry Mixed Seafood, which he loved.I loved what I had, and it was hot enough for me. Everything was wonderful!!!

I purchase food to go. The service was outstanding. The sample platter was very good. The Pad Tai was just ok. Missing flavor and lacking peanuts sauce in the Pad Thai. I think I’ll give it another try.
