The best bagel sandwiches I've found in Chico so far! I usually get the Trinity, and sometimes add an egg to it for an extra dollar. I've only had their espresso drinks, which I find to be tasty but nothing super special. I do enjoy the vibe as well. A very chill place to sit in a corner and get some work or studying done.
All of that said, this place offers a space for those with developmental disabilities to gain work experience with a competitive wage. It's well worth supporting, and while I've personally always had excellent service there, I think anyone complaining about their service in the reviews should be keeping in mind that it's a work training program. This info is posted on the Mondos website and in the cafe itself.
In any case, I highly recommend checking it out and grabbing a sandwich, if nothing else. Some have complained about pricing in these reviews, but I promise you that these are pretty average espresso drink and breakfast/bagel sandwich prices nowadays, as much as I wish that weren't the case.

So I came here hoping for the lower price I saw in a picture review, the prices are double for the breakfast sandwich, BUT it is super yummy, so I can't complain. Just hoping not to spend 20 on a drink and sandwich today.
Posting a updated picture of the menu.

Coffee from 2 different carafes we tried was just about the weakest I've ever had anywhere. It looked like tea as it poured, and refills weren't even free (although we didn't want any after one cup anyway). Avoid.
Breakfast bagel sandwiches were just okay, and too expensive at 10.50 each for what you get. The bagels are very airy, so there's not much substance there.
Great coffee, I liked the Lassen Sandwich for brunch, though the breakfast food here is great too. Relaxed Dark Academia aesthetic, with lots of old leather couches, dark wood tables, books and plants scattered throughout.

I came here this morning after reading all of the reviews on Google about how delicious the coffee was here and how great the customer service was. To be honest, the customer service during my visit wasn’t that great. The girl behind the counter seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. She was quite impatient, and wasn’t very personable. Also, I was a little unimpressed with the coffee. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it has a strawberry taste to it. There was also a bit of a stuffy smell on the inside of the café. But I got a bagel as well, and that was absolutely delicious. It tasted homemade. Overall, it wasn’t that great of a visit. I probably won’t be visiting again. But I do recommend the bagels. Especially the jalapeño cheddar one.
Best breakfast sandwiches in town! So many different bagels to pick from and the staff is very friendly!

This cafe located near University Village is a great spot to grab breakfast in the mornings. They have a variety of bagels and coffees to get you started in the morning. Additionally, the staff are very kind and keep the interior and table very clean and tidy.

Quiet place where the old men go for coffee and sit around and chew the fat.Breakfast sandwich was good but not worth the posted 9.67 or the 11.67 she actually charged me.
Parking: Exit down at the light by the intersection or you won't be able to get out when there is traffic

Very cozy shop with delicious bagels and coffee! Environment is relaxing and workers seem comfortable here :)
Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives available (soy, almond, oat)
Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious enough to move through without issue, even though the shop is on the smaller end.
