Probably the worst burger from a non franchise restaurant I’ve ever had. Got the regular nobby burger. Sooooo. DRY. Literally stacked with 2 types of onion. I almost laughed at the thought process here. Lettuce and tomatoe fine.. but the cheese skirt was nothing special at all. Just grease. No seasoning on patty, not even a burger sauce? Onion rings were fast food quality.. wife had the same order. She got pickle chips which were fine. Also the bun , the weird shaped dinner roll they use is just.. bad and not a good flavor either

The burger, the legend, the myth of the massive fried cheddar cheeseburger! Nobbys! This place is a local treasure and is not to be missed. I discovered this joint 20 years ago, and try to make it there at least once per year. They receive my highest rating, 5/5 golden onion rings.

Hands down one of, if not thee best burger in Chico, Butte County, & possibly all of Nor Cal. If you like cheese melting all over it & just a little crispy at the ends (aka the Nobbys infamous cheese flank,) then you won't be disappointed. This is surely the burger joint for you! I usually get the Nobby burgerbut sometimes i'll add bacon &/or avocado. One Nobbys burger alone often ends up being 2 meals for me. A double even more. Shout out to Nobbys for not selling out or compromising!! They were about the last place in town to raise their prices (still way below downtown average) & just about the only place that hasn't shrunk or devalued their product while doing so.
