Nobby's

I discovered this establishment after a short web search for best burgers in Chico. It did not disappoint! The food was quickly prepared. Everything tasted fresh! The French fries and onion rings were cooked well. The coating on the onion rings was delicious! The meat on the burger was juicy and delicious. The burger toppings were fresh. The Butterfinger shake was absolutely delicious and had Butterfinger chunks throughout and at the bottom. The portions of everything we ordered were so large we could/should have shared. The staff were all very friendly, professional, helpful and willingly answered questions. I'm very surprised at how quiet it was and the small number of customers.

Delicious burgers.

The staff at Nobby's is always friendly. They cook to order and are pretty fast to complete, even with a crowd. Burgers are juicy, drip down your chin, and crispy melted cheese yumminess!

I had a bad experience with my order today. The owner called me himself and won me over..I deleted my previous review.
I appreciate him calling and talking with me...
I'll try again another day..
Thank you for improving my mood...I prefer smiling.

Probably the worst burger from a non franchise restaurant I’ve ever had. Got the regular nobby burger. Sooooo. DRY. Literally stacked with 2 types of onion. I almost laughed at the thought process here. Lettuce and tomatoe fine.. but the cheese skirt was nothing special at all. Just grease. No seasoning on patty, not even a burger sauce? Onion rings were fast food quality.. wife had the same order. She got pickle chips which were fine. Also the bun , the weird shaped dinner roll they use is just.. bad and not a good flavor either

The burger, the legend, the myth of the massive fried cheddar cheeseburger! Nobbys! This place is a local treasure and is not to be missed. I discovered this joint 20 years ago, and try to make it there at least once per year. They receive my highest rating, 5/5 golden onion rings.
