Nobby's

This place was recommended by a Chico native and it was certainly an experience. The cheese skirt is a unique and tasty idea, but the meat left everything to be desired. It was over cooked and barely there, reminiscent of chopped beef, but it was supposed to be a patty. Two items in our order were wrong, but everyone was nice. We sat outside and the benches could use a good wash down every couple days, but seem to be forgotten when the cleaning happens. It’s worth the one time experience, but it’s not my favorite burger in town.

I don't think I will never eat another cheeseburger the same way again as I had at Nobbys. The cheese skirt was a new experience to me. But man was the food amazing. Would highly recommend.

If you’re in Chico and haven’t had a Nobby Burger yet, you’re missing out. This spot is straight up legendary. The burger itself is juicy and packed with flavor, but the real game changer is that famous cheese skirt crispy, melty, and wrapping around the patty like a crown. It takes an already great burger and makes it unforgettable. The vibe is always chill, the portions are huge, and you definitely leave full and happy. Nobby’s is hands down one of the best burger joints in town.

Food is great. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich. I would absolutely try again but order a burger next time. Staff was on point, courteous, and as fast as possible. They do good work.

Only complaint is they could use more seating but sometimes you gotta work with what you've got and they do a tremendous job.

Simply the best burger joint there is. It’s all about the cheese skirt. But the patty quality is top-notch. All the other ingredients are great.

The workers have all been there forever. It’s a tiny hole in the wall with a great local feel. It’s better than the squeeze in in sack, which is its sister store, but that’s a coin flip and I’m biased as a former Chico State student
