From the beginning when we started planning the reception dinner, Nor Cal was friendly and helpful. They gave us some great ideas to make the dinner special but also affordable. At the wedding, they were prompt, professional, and the the presentation was very tasteful. Now the foods: tons of compliments from our guests. Very tasty. Marsail provided a drop-off service for a party of ours with 50 people yesterday, and everyone raved about the food. We had the tri-tip and chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans w/bacon, and mango bean salad. He plans for generous portions, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. The food was so delicious, multiple people came up to me to get the name of whoever catered the party. Additionally, Marsail was prompt in his responses and so attentive to detail! He certainly became my family's go-to caterer for future events.

We were late to the Grad Party game with a very small group of 20 ppl., from vegans to full-on carnivores. Marsail treated us small-potatoes like we were big fish, very professional! Picked up the phone quickly (can you believe it?), with a very attentive demeanor. Responded quickly to our request for quote based on our menus selections. Arrived on site, personally, with one minute to spare, over-served us which all college kids appreciate, am I wrong? Can't recommend Nor Cal Catering enough. We'll be back!

Our tasting before the wedding was great. Now on wedding day, it was not so great. A few people mentioned they thought the tri tip was a little undercooked. Nothing was labeled so my guests that are vegan had no idea what they could eat and other guests were eating the vegan food because they did not know (which there was not much vegan options because only a few people needed it.) Appetizers were not set up in the designated area so guests did not even know there were apps. The food was not ready at the agreed upon time. Marsail is a great guy but we were expecting a little more as it was our wedding.

We had Marshall and his team cater out wedding in June 2021. I can't tell you how much we appreciated his help even after I made many changes to the guest list a week before the event. Marshall was early and organized, and his team was very professional. The food was great, hot and tasty. We had the smoked trip tip and chicken for the entrees, with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes, and a lovely pasta salad to round out the menu for 70+ guests. Everyone remarked on how good the dinner was! Lastly, the job didn't cost near as much as some other estimates had been, so its was truly a fantastic outcome, all the way around. Thanks again!

I cannot stress enough how much you should use Marsail as your caterer. He was the lowest maintenance of all our vendors. This is because he is so well organized and understands customer service. He had never performed an event at our venue and took time out of his own schedule to survey and plan his set up. This was all on his own initiative. If that wasn't enough, the most important reason you should hire Marsail is his food. It was delicious! I may be biased as it was my wedding, but I have literally been to over 50 weddings and it's the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding! To put it in better perspective, we had around 60 no shows and only enough left overs for about 30 people. So our guests liked it too! If you're reading this, I would call Marsail as soon as you can!
