The breads seems pretty fresh
Awesome little tienda/panderia! Lots of fresh pastries, wide selection of jarritos, fresh and marinated meat and poultry. Definitely going back for more!
I went today to buy some meat and as I was looking to see what I wanted. I seen a cockroach just plain daylight walking around the floor. I can only imagine what that place looks like when the lights go off they really need to step up on their cleaning. the place is not very clean. I won’t be returning.
It's so good
I love this place
They have everything that i grew up with and it just made Chico feel a little more like home. They have a carniceria, bakery, cheeses, candies, drinks, and all the staples of a latino household. They are very warm and welcoming, I highly recommend stopping in.
We’ve gone here several times to buy some meat and bread. Occasionally to send money to some family members through their money transferring services. There are two older women who work there. I don’t know their names but one of them is really rude. One of the young ladies that works at the register is also very rude. We asked the older woman and the young woman for help with a money transfer order and they had scowl face. They were not very friendly and seemed bothered that we asked for help. We will not be returning.
Advisable. Clean place. Hot bread. Mexican flavors.
Get there early otherwise you have no selection

My favorite market in Mexico! Amazing meats at butcher shop and special bakery, fresh! Find special Mexican condiments and food here. Great service!

Every year for the past 3 years I’ve purchased a rosca de reyes bread for the 6th of Jan. The past times when I pick up my bread it’s still warm.its always been so fresh, however this year I was a little disappointed. Ordered my bread to be picked up right at opening. It wasn’t warm so I was a little concerned. Once cutting into bread and eating it, my family all said the same thing. That it’s really dry and hard. Not sure if it’s a new baker or recipe but it tasted stale almost. Luckily we dipped it in hot chocolate but still. I can only imagine tomorrow whatever is left over will be even harder. Sad. And it was almost $40

Really poor market.
Parking: Not friendly people. They might be racists against white people.

Their salsas are excellent! And I like the cheese and crema. They do cook up some really good chicharones on the weekends. Their pastry is good but only if you buy it within 24 hours of it being made. I don't know which day it is made and brought into the store but 7 out of 10 times that I buy the pastry when I get home it's stale tasting, no matter how beautiful and plentiful they looked on the shelf. The staff is always friendly and helpful. When I go in I never find dust or dirt on my canned goods and the store is kept clean. I would love to see them do some kind of bright pop of color on the walls and some other type of update to their decor. It would make it a more fun shopping experience
Wheelchair accessibility: I think it would be difficult to get a wheelchair through this store. The aisles are crowded with stuff hanging off the end caps. And the end aisles are narrow also. The door does not automatically open and they would definitely need assistance. If they can get assisted inside with their wheelchair, they may find the staff can help them shop for what they need while they stay at the front of the store.
