Went here and an event was happening, which made getting something to drink very difficult..ordered 2 so I didn't have to wait again.
Was planning on ordering food at the bar but for as long as it took to get a drink we got seats at a table instead..the table staff was nice. I just don't feel they staffed correctly for the event and the regular customers.
I had the BBQ beef sliders and they were pretty tasty..which I didn't remember to take a pic before I started to dig in.
Pretty good size patio..

They pray on drunk people and scam you for your money. They are taking “donations” up front but when you try to get inside they say you have to pay to get in. Then if you try to pay with a card they can apparently only charge you $10 when the “fee” is $3? They also can’t count or are purposefully scamming people they gave me and all my friends the wrong amount of change. They’re clearly down tremendously they need all the money they can get. They also don't know how to properly check IDs they claimed my friends was fake based on him just looking young. The manager got called and did absolutely nothing. How are you running a bar but don’t have the brain or technology to check IDs correctly?

I had wanted to go to Taphouse for so long, and unfortunately this first visit left much to be desired. To be clear, the food was fantastic. No complaints there whatsoever. But, the service was absolutely abhorrent. It was not a particularly busy evening, but our dinner ended up lasting almost 3 hours due to the inattention of the staff. After the hostess seated us and got us waters, it took about 10 minutes for someone to come take our drink orders. After waiting 20-25 minutes for 3 beers and a cocktail, we then waited...and waited...until someone in our party finally had to go track down our waiter so that they would take our order. This was literally an hour after we arrived. After ordering, the food arrived in decent time and was delicious. But, to top off the evening, we had one person in our party who was celebrating a birthday and our server offered a scoop of gelato. We accepted the gelato, and then waited over 20 minutes for a scoop of gelato to arrive. Actually, we were gathering our stuff to go pay the bill at the front and leave before we finally saw our server coming out with the bowl of gelato.

So again, the food was delicious. The beer was OK. The atmosphere was OK, but nothing special. However, the service was some of the worst I've ever experienced. Needless to say, we won't be returning. If we want beers and good food, Sierra Nevada will have our business.

Fantastic night out for a young patron looking for a lively, albeit crowded night out.

Parking: Be sure to keep your eyes out for Street parking as you approach - it can get crowded close to the venue.

Worst bar to go to! Bartender had my ID and the bouncer (women with black short hair) refused to let me look for it. I told her it was in there but instead of helping she became aggressive. Luckily a friend was able to grab it. Do not go here!!! Absolute worst customer service!

Food is excellent. Granddaughter loved the mac n cheese. Lots of vegetarian options. Very nice outdoor seating. It's a bit pricy but everything is freshly made with quality ingredients.

Says taphouse but on weekend has small town club vibes.
The wait at bar is intense because the place is packed to the brim BUT the staff is busting their a$$es to quench your thirst, so keep that in mind and tip them for hustling so hard.
hopefully you can kick that drink back before spilling it squeezing closer than comfortable in the eclectic sea of 21-25 year olds. The DJ on the weekend was better than the Spotify playlist of most places in town.

I had a long day, I was enjoying that night at bar station. But their worker ask me to move from bar station, like I can’t seat at the bar on the chair. Maybe my accent shows I’m not American, but I felt disappointed. I paid and left. My last time at that bar

I enjoy going here. Drinks are good, food is good, atmosphere is good. Would recommend. Just keep in mind it can get loud when it's busy.

I went in last night to go bar hopping with my friends as I am visiting from Oregon. The manager Trevor was not a nice guy. Dude tried saying my Oregon ID was fake. Trevor broke my id , or one of his co workers did. Now thanks to these bozos I have to get a new ID when I get back from my trip. 10/10 would not recommend handing these guys your IDTHEY TOLD ME THEY COULDNT SCAN IT AND IT WAS FAKE NOW I HAVE TO GET A NEW LICENSE BECAUSE THEY BROKE MY REAL ONE

This would have been a four star review if not for the manager on shift on Friday 5/10. Drinks were great, bartenders were great, and then around 9:30 we first experienced the manager who wasrude, self focused and demonstrated the kind of customer service you associate with Jack-in-the-Box. The other servers all sort of averted their eyes as they dealt with what is something they've clearly experienced before. I would have loved to rate this higher but customer service is so important these days. I hope she receives some coaching on customer service or chooses a new career as bartending clearly isn’t it

I am traveling and visiting friends for my birthday which is today may 11th. I turned 23 today and last night (5-10-24) i came to parkside to drink with my buddies to celebrate my birthday. Keep in mind I am from Oregon, an Oregon resident. Parkside and the Manager Or supposed Manager Trevor told me my id was fake and one of the other “bouncers” broke a corner off of my id. My id is not fake and now I have to go through the troubles of going and getting a new one when I get back home I had several other bouncers confirm that my id was real, heck I even had my Oregon Car insurance on me and they still did not believe I was an Oregon resident and insisted my id was fake. To say the least I am very upset that a SUPPOSED MANAGER CANT EVEN READ A REAL ID , LET ALONE HANDLE SOMEONES ID WITH CARE. TREVOR THE MANAGER AND 2 OF HIS OTHER CREW MEMBERS ARE NOT COOL AND I HOPE SOMETHING CAN BE DONE

Great food, busy busy busy with young people. Don't expect an apology when someone bumps into you. Great drinks and great staff. If you're in the mood to dance and drink, this place hits pretty well.

Better the second time around.

Parking: Not my first place to go. Hate the downtown parking situation and the way to pay with the "kiosks"
