Ordered from here yesterday, maybe I’m late to the party but it’s not pho le anymore. They have the same number connected to the new restaurant so when I called I had no idea until pick up it was a new place called “maki” they should really take down there google listing for this business as it was confusing and not the same. I used to love pho le and the price and flavor was unbeatable hands down but now $17 for a bowl of pho that lacks any and all flavor I’m good. I’ll just stick to Kathy’s deli and wait for them to be open for my pho cravings bc that was wasted money

Pho Le doesn't exist anymore, Maki acquired them and is charging $15 for a bowl of pho. Would recommend any other pho place.

I just made the most amazing discovery!! Pho Le has been my favorite pho place in Chico for years now. Today I found out that the owner's nephew has taken the reins (his uncle is still working there too, just getting some much-needed reprieve). They've kept the Pho Le menu the same but also added a Japanese menu!! I had the opportunity to try their new sushi bar and was BEYOND impressed. Their salmon sashimi is the best quality I've had in Chico. And guess what? They have REAL WASABI, you guys. It's incredible. I'm so impressed. I took home aorder of pho and bun ga as well. The quality of the original Vietnamese menu is still exactly the same as before, but maybe slightly improved because the portions are larger! It's the same Pho Le just leveled up!! To summarize: I'm super picky about my Japanese food because I've spent time in Japan, and the salmon at Maki is very very good. The real wasabi also changes everything, truly. The daikon and shiso garnishes were really cool additions as well, making it so much more authentic than any other Japanese restaurants in Chico. The new owner is so wonderful and helped me load the takeout order into my car! I would encourage all of you to try them out. I'm extremely confident that you won't be disappointed. I was mourning the loss of Japanese Blossoms, but this food is substantially better!

I haven't been to this place since covid and when I tried the broth it was pretty good until I put the chili oil in. There has to be a change in that chili oil asap! Literally killed the whole pho bowl. Overall I love that place and the owners. Super nice and friendly.

Really good pho spot for chico! The rice dishes and eggrolls hits the spot ? I ate pho all my life and coming to chico it was hard to find one that hits like home.

Disappointed. I confirmed that my portion was a large. It had about 3 ounces of round and some tendon. The broth was just ok. The service was unenthusiastic. I would only come here if you are really hard up for Pho.

Literally soooooo extremely delicious. We got the chicken pho and it was so savory and comforting. 10 for a small bowl and it was plenty for me. 12 dollars for a larger one. Pretty much a steal for this quality. The atmosphere is really quiet and peaceful. Love it, highly recommended.

I have went to all other pho shops in Chico and none can compare to the love put into the food here. They have huge portions, amazing flavors, and the owners are the sweetest! The broth is just right, fresh ingredients, and they don't charge extra for beef tendon if you are looking for it. The prices are very affordable as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The only pho I truly enjoy.

If I could give no stars I would. I was hoping to experience the "worth the wait" food... but instead we experienced something else! My daughter gave her order, but the waiter questioned her order - "Are you sure you want that? We don't usually make that. Do we even have that on the menu? What a rare order." Why would you say that to the customer.... So odd! My husband and I ordered spring rolls and shrimp pho. The spring rolls FINALLY came out but was so flimsy - filled with so much lettuce and rice noodle (to make it look like it was a big roll) and two shrimps sliced in half to visually look like there is more...and there was not sliced meat in the spring roll. The waiter said "yes there's meat in there, it's just really thin, you can't really see it." So I bit into it and just thinly chopped lettuce and rice noodle. We wanted to eat something quick before my daughters basketball game. Usually pho is fast and comforting. We travelled up here from the San Francisco Bay Area so we were just trying to find something can never go wrong! After waiting for about 30 mins or more, I asked how much longer will it be and they said "it will actually be a while longer because we have to go orders first" And mentioned that they make and serve one table at a time. So we said we would opt to cancel our order because we didn't have time to wait for a while since we were in a time crunch! What was so funny was an older man came out and basically opted to refuse our service after we cancelled our order. He gave us the check and he still wanted to charge us for food that didn't want or eat. We are a PHO EATING FAMILY. We love all sorts of variations of pho. But it's safe to say we love our pho restaurants in the bay. Really sad that our experience did not live up to the reviews!
