Great tour, loved the Mediterranean pizza in the restaurant.As a homebrewer, the tour was fantastic. Plenty of samples before, during and after the tour. I was awed to stand under 12 fermenters holding 24,000 gallons each. I was staying in Sacramento and it was only an hour and a half drive to Chico.

Going to a place like this is a luxury for us and it's not often we're able to do this. So we choose very carefully but this time was a bad choice. The fries were room temperature, the pizza was burnt and our server only came back to give us the check. We had four empty drinks half way into our meal.

Service was very bad. Every other table arriving after us were served beverages and food. Our waitress was non attentive. We had two others serve our apps and main course, both served stone cold. For $90 for three people, I'd expected better food quality and service. We won't be back nor would we recommend.

Get the pretzel and sausage appetizer!! I love that they have half pints so you can try multiple beers/do your own mini flight. Very tasty, good vibes, and classic Chico dinner spot!

We had THE most awesome finning experience last night due to our Server! Marco… He was so attentive, funny, engaging… smart and witty!!! He deserves a raise no doubt but maybe some opportunity within the offices as well! It is difficult to find young people or older in the service industry) a very challenging industry, no doubt) that are so full of enthusiasm and make your dining experience exceed expectations. We live Sierra Nevada, for the Nitro lol… and it is near and dear to our hearts because of the community we had when I worked there… I will say the last time we were there, the service was awful, the sever forgot our beer of all things and it took 15-20 minutes to get it afterwards… Last night, it was 18 minutestrying to get 4 ( we found some friends) beers, so Marco being our server really made up for that! We’d go back over and over if we can have him each time!

Getting a beer at the bar is a joke! It took 18 minutes to get a few beers. The ladies were very nice but the set up is awful! It's really a bummer because Sierra Nevada brewery has so many great things about it. Can somebody please fix this? It happens every time I go there. I should be asked if i would like a delicious draft beer when I walk through the door! Seriously... this should be the first thing you do when customers walk in.

Great service! Great food! Great beer! Can be a little pricey but honestly that's par for the course anywhere these days. What more could you ask for???

As I arrived at the Sierra Nevada Brewery located in Chico, CA, I walked into the front door of the restaurant as any hungry customer would. I was seated very promptly by one of the hosts who was very considerate and friendly. I believe this was what began my reflection on my life. What was I thinking this whole time?? Why hadn't I tried this place sooner? To put it simply, I felt like I was at home. The waiter brought me the menu as I took my most proper seat, and I was astonished by the choice of items available. Was this real life?...It was real life! Shortly after, a plate of fresh garlic bread and warm tomato sauce were placed in front of me. I could only shriek! I ordered the Pe-pe-spice pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Thereafter I paid my check and left but a generous tip. I got into my car, drove off, and headed down 99. I could not stop thinking about my experience. The ambience, the quality, the feeling of happiness. My impulse got the best of me. I decided to switch direction and head towards the Sierra Nevada mountains. I am now on a 200 mile hike across the sierras and having the time of my life!! Thank you Sierra Nevada

So disappointing. This is the only brewery in California that doesn't allow dogs. They allow kids in the bar, but no dogs! Not even on the patio. Ridiculous. There was nothing on their website that said "no dogs". My dog was quietly lying next to my barstool, when I was surrounded by 3 employees who told me to leave while a toddler was running circles around the bar area. Their beer is mediocre at best and we won't be back and do not recommend it.

The Sierra Nevada Taproom is a beautiful dining room. The service was great. I don't usually send food back though I believe because I am just getting over a cold my taste might be off and my food was a little salty for me. They remade my dish for me without salt and it was fantastic. The manager came out and talked with us and I explained that it was most likely me and not the chef yet took care of us graciously though not necessary. My husband's food was super yummy and the sausage plate was amazing. I recommend highly.
