Special Times Catering was amazing at our wedding. Everything was seamless, we never had to wonder if the dessert table was set up already or if the candles were lit. Shandi’s team was incredible. Everything that was discussed prior to the wedding day went perfectly. ALL of our guests loved the food and appetizers. We chose tri tip w mashed potatoes and it was amazing! We can’t say enough about our service with them. 10/10 would recommend, worth every penny for amazing, flawless service!

Shandi and the whole team at Special Times Catering made our wedding experience so amazing! Shandi was so amazing to work with from start to finish, she is very organized and detail oriented and knows this industry so well! Every question or concern that I had was answered promptly and the whole process was so smooth. The day of the wedding her team flawlessly executed what she and I had talked about and planned. We hired them for our bar service and they did a great job keeping the drinks flowing all night. We cannot say enough positive things about Special Times Catering. We would use them again every time!!

I can’t recommend Special Times Catering enough! From the moment I reached out, Shandi made the entire process so easy and stress-free for me. I started wedding planning later than most and didn’t have time to do a ton of research, but after reading her stellar online reviews and getting wonderful feedback from vendors, friends, and even my own sister (who attended an event catered by Special Times and raved about the food), I knew I was in good hands.

Shandi was incredibly responsive and organized from our first contact. She answered all my questions quickly and explained everything I needed to know—what she’d handle, what I needed to provide, and her timeline for the day. Meeting with her a couple of weeks before my wedding put me completely at ease; she covered every detail and made sure I knew exactly what to expect.

The day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. We had appetizers served right after the ceremony (my only regret is not getting to try them, but my guests raved about them!). For dinner, we went with chicken, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese, which were all a huge hit. We opted for mac and cheese to accommodate all the kids we had attending, but it was definitely popular with the adults also. We chose a dessert bar instead of cake, which included brownies, cookies, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Our guests absolutely loved it, and the take-home bags for dessert were a big success.
The drink station was set up perfectly, with water, punch, and iced tea in addition to the open bar, making sure everyone had options. I barely noticed all the behind-the-scenes work because Shandi managed everything so seamlessly—from serving us personally to coordinating the buffet and keeping everything cleaned up. I didn’t have to worry about a thing from start to finish.

They were absolutely great to deal with. The food was excellent and the service was great. I’d highly recommend them.

Shandi and her team at Special Times Catering did a FABULOUS job catering our non-profit gala. What started as an anticipated 250-275 attendance number quickly raced to the 320-guest mark! They professionally rose to the occasion, providing a beautifully plated meal for each guest in attendance. Incredible! They were incredibly responsive to the situation, and once our program began had worked out a way to be almost completely silent in finishing bussing tables.
The food was absolutely delicious, too. One guest commented that he attends a lot of nonprofit events and tri-tip is the standard fare (which is what we served) and that it's generally not that great. He commented that he did NOT leave our event starving because the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I couldn't agree more!

Special Times was so incredible at my wedding and my bridal shower. The food and presentation were all beautiful, and Shandi was such a huge help in making my vision come to life. Will absolutely book with them in the future!

Do not recommend. Awful food and rude and disrespectful trailer trash staff. Tri tip grey, dry and chewy. Chicken dry and tasteless.

Stay away or you will be very disappointed.

Shandi and her crew were absolutely amazing at my daughter's wedding. Food was out of this world delicious! Several guests made it a point to mention how good the food was. She had every detail perfectly managed, above and beyond the food itself. She was organized, easy to work with and knowledgeable. Her staff was professional and polite. So glad we went with Special Times for catering, thank you!!!

I cannot do justice to how amazing Shandi and her team at Special Times Catering are! The food was absolutely incredible! Every guest we spoke to at our wedding complimented us on how wonderful the meal was. The tri-tip was cooked perfectly, the chicken was so savory and their presentation was a thing of beauty. One of our out of town guests even commented that it was the best meal he had enjoyed in several months, and he’s from Las Vegas! In addition, Shandi took her time to go over every detail with us beforehand to ensure my wife got everything she wanted for our special day & that we wouldn’t be surprised by any unforeseen expenses. We highly recommend Special Times for your wedding or any large event. They definitely were one of the highlights of our wedding!
