Their grilled tacos are the best tacos I've had in my life.

The tacos were hot and fresh in foil, carne asada with a nice lil crisp to it, salsa actually had some real spice to it ?️. Overall really good taco & you just can’t beat 5 of them for $6 .

This is my favorite Mexican spot in all of Chico. Everyone I've introduced it to agrees. It's so good I wish they were open on the weekends.

My favorite taco truck in chico for sure. Order the grilled tacos (They put melted cheese in the bottom!), or the chicken quesadilla.

I love el centenario. We have been frequenting this truck weekly for 3 years now and have no complaints. Fast, friendly service, great food at great prices, and right next to campus. Our favorite items on the menu are the chicken burritos, the chicken nachos, and the grilled shrimp street tacos.

Delicious burritos and nacho fries. Very well seasoned and tasty meat and food. Only downfall is the burrito is small. I would still definitely recommend.

Taco Tuesday... usually a day of joy and reverence for lovers of Mexican food. Today, I tried this particular stand, and immediately regretted it. I mean, what could go wrong when a stand advertises 5 for $5 on a Tuesday? Let's get to it...5 chicken tacos (spicy), 5 beef tacos (spicy), 1 fruit punch Jarrito. The pictures speak for themselves as to the make-up and appearance. But I digress, it was very difficult to distinguish between the meats, which not only looked the same, but was dry and hastily chopped, and had the same bland taste. Some of the tacos had less than half the ingredients as others (see pictures). I asked for spicy and was sadly disappointed by the lack of flavor. I was lucky enough to have a few packs of Taco Bell "Fire" sauce, which helped. Some had a splash of cheese I didn't ask for, while some didn't, and they came with NO lime, lemon, jalapeños, carrots, or radishes. I choked down 3 of each, having to combine 2 to make 1 complete Taco. I WAS going to save the rest for my wife, but decided to spare Her the experience and just gave the rest to the neighborhood stray cat... who, after 4hrs in the bowl, STILL hadn't eaten them yet. The BEST part of the meal, you ask!? The fruit punch soda I had to wash the taste out of my mouth. That old saying "You get what you pay for" plays heavily here. I place this stand in the bottom 3 in Chico. You deserve better in Mexican food, please avoid this establishment and instead... visit the stand diagonally across the street (Tacos El Paisa), which ranks in my Top 5 on a Taco Tuesday, and at the same price, $1 a taco. See my review on that truck and find bliss!!
