Today was my first day trying Tacos Tonaya #2. I am very picky with presentation so in that area, I will give it a 7/10 BUT the flavors were immaculate. There was a great crunch, the consume was flavorful. I came here because I was sick and they did not miss. I will definitely come back. Customer service was a 10 and the menu was very "diverse" shall I say, from tacos to hamburgers they got it all.

First of all, 40 minutes for a chimichanga when barely anybody is in the building?2nd, $17?!! Seems a tad bit up there..... And, 3rd, you're literally microwaving my chimichanga?..... IN STYROFOAM?!!! Yeah no thanks ....I know some people don't care about using microwaves (I do. It should be pretty simple to use a quick little oven) but for the love of God Tacos Tonaya, if you're reading this, is it too much to ask for using a glass or porcelain dish so it doesn't leach literal poison from the styrofoam into people's food? C'mon ...

This was so good. Crispy chips. Nice cheese. Beans we're great. Chicken was so juicy and they PILED my to go order. They put a very large quantity of sour cream and Guac. Beans we're great as well (I chose refried). They also had some hot sauce on it that added this AMAZING tanginess. Highly recommend!!!!

They are like family, they have always been amazing hosts to all of their customers and the food is delicious. Their street tacos are some.of the best in chico and they have a variety on their menu that most others don't have. They catered our wedding and did a fantastic job and I have also partnered with them to do business together with my business and have valued that partnership for years. Definitely must try.

This should have been a 5 star as they have very good food and have stepped up there game over the last couple years. It used to be you would never know when they are open, but they stick to their schedule now, accurately. One of the best late night spots for good mexican food. However the last couple times I've been in there they've messed up my order and corrected it which is all well and good. But, they told me I made the order wrong this time when I specifically articulated exactly what I wanted so the mishap would not happen again. It was pretty rude and ticked me off. I'm sure others will have no issues getting perfect service as they have always been nice. It's just unfortunate they told me I was wrong and lying like they were fed up with me even though they were at fault...

I love this place, my whole family does! Their quesa birria tacos are top notch! Everything I've ever had is delicious. They have my favorite tortas in town. Their fries are really good too.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the quesadilla, kids burrito, and the fries.

Our food was bland/unseasoned; beans were not properly cooked/warmed. The food was so DRY; beans barely had cheese, meat and shells were crumbly and falling apart before we could pick them up. We received no sauce upon request. It was a wasted almost $40! So mad we didn’t order off a burrito truck. The soda was good though!
Their burritos are huge! My favorite is the California Burrito. I called ahead and it was ready when I got there. The ladies that work here are great
