So excited try new local place in North Chico. Highly disappointed. Outside area nice, inside not much seating and super loud. The French dip worst I've ever had, a few slices of deli style roast beef, super salty, no flavor and mostly bread. It was bad! Hubby had pastrami sammy same thing. Won't be back. Almost $50 for bad sandwiches and didn't even order drinks. Had to pay for sides. Skip it.

This is an interesting spot in a brand new strip mall they built on East Eaton and Floral. Most of the spaces in the strip aren't even leased yet so that leaves plenty of parking. Both times I've been there was for dinner, the first time it was packed but it was summer so more people were out, this time was mid-fall so it was already dark and chilly when we got there and thus less crowded but still busy.
The first time I went here with a buddy some time in mid-June and it was ok, I had the Alibi Burger but it just didn't do it for me. Their pretzel and beer cheese appetizer was pretty good. The service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive and friendly, always checking in and refilling our drinks. The ambience on the patio was very chill, although it seemed kind of strange to look across the street and see houses. Still, it was nice.
Fast-forward five months and that same friend and I checked it out again and I enjoyed my meal much more this time around. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Fries as a starter and the New York Style Pastrami on rye with tots for my main. All of it was great, and again this time the service was still excellent. It was a chilly night so not many folks were on the patio this time but one of the staff flipped on the fire pit at our table which was a cool touch.
Parking: It's a big spacious lot with more than enough parking for everyone.

Actually the most basic food I’ve ever had my burger seemed like they bought it frozen at Safeway. This was a week or so after they opened and the staff were acting very weird it seemed like none of them had any experience… they had two different servers bring out waters one at a time for four people so they each did two trips. It’s now a place for clueless white people to go to hang out since it’s the closest “restaurant” the location is perfect this place would be dead on arrive anywhere else.

Food was pretty darn good. Alibi burger and tots hit the mark for sure. Staff was really wonderful and the food made it to the table insanely fast.. like less than 3 minutes. It was crazy! Owners were there moving tables for another patron who needed some shade on the patio and we're super nice and happy to hear about our positive experience. Can't wait to go back.

Great neighborhood pub. Friendly people there. I'll go back.
I was excited to try this local pub as I live close by. Very disappointed that my Beef Bulgogi bowl barely had any meat and the portion was small. The taste was good but definitely overpriced for a self serve restaurant.

Wow. First, let say, how do you not salt anything? Salt is pretty basic and the food didn't even taste like salt. I got the "Bulgogi" beef bowl and was VERY disappointed. The rice had absolutely no flavor-no kimchi to it at all. If a piece of kimchi ran by it, it would still have more flavor. The cabbage "slaw" is just bagged cabbage that adds no flavor(again) and has no dressing. Bulgogi also has no traditional bulgogi flavor and somehow tasted not even like salt. The ginger dressing tasted fine but they gave me a minuscule amount so I couldn't even taste that either. The only thing that had flavor were the pickled red onions.
Sides also cost extra so on top of a small, bland portion, you get small, bland sides. Again, somehow the salty foods weren't salty.
Not sure if someone was having a bad day or this is how it usually is. I hope they change their recipe because for now, it's an issue for the owners.
Well rolling back into my hometown seeing all that’s been built is crazy! Saw this little place and placed an order over the phone for two appetizers Sausage board and Mac n cheese bites. Walked in to pick up. No one to greet. No idea where I’m going and so I find someone standing at a machine. I say I’m here for pick up. First thing she said was “did you pay” well that was rubbed a little wrong. I got my food paid $27 for what’s in pictures. I’m thinking variety of sausages maybe some other stuff but it’s basically a Winco bought sausage one whole cut in half and another half. With 3 sticks of dried cold pretzels with excessive amounts of cheese dips. About 7 Mac n cheese bites also tasting like they weren’t made to order. I’d be fine and semi ok w the food but the whole “no customer service” bs has to stop. Businesses get bigger and better by reputation. Young twenty year olds just not caring which is sad to see. Won’t be going back and do not recommend. Good luck though maybe you’ll have a better experience than I did. Pictures added in photos

The food is subpar even for bar food, and over priced. The service was terrible. The beer selection is subpar. I was unimpressed all across the board and I genuinely get the impression that the owners don't know what they are doing. They should hire real cooks for the kitchen instead of the neighborhood kids. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich, which is mostly bread, and onion rings, which were under cooked. I forget what they charged for it all. I also ordered the sausage platter (I was there with a friend), it came with three pretzel bread sticks, some dipping sauces and three skewers, each with four thin sliced sausage medallions that were seared. There was less than 2 oz. of sausage on that platter that cost me just south of 20$. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and onion rings. They brought him the grilled chicken sandwich, explaining that they were out of the fried chicken and the onion rings were under cooked. I was finished with my order by the time they brought my friends order out. One of the owners, an older woman, didn't even look at us when she said "sorry" before walking away, and I was comped for my 2 ciders. I paid over 50$ for this piss poor experience. I highly, HIGHLY recommend going some place else. The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because I have to in order to leave a review.

Great experience at The Alibi this weekend. Went with my wife, kids, and mother in law and we all had a fantastic meal. Getting food was a little slow but they are still new and it was busy. One of the staff who I'd assume was the owner gave me a free beer for the wait which wasn't necessary but very appreciated. Will be returning in the near future.

My partner and I have already gone a few times for lunch since they opened. I've had the fried chicken burger, the bulgogi bowl, and the tots and all were solid. I really like that the chicken wasn't too breaded or thick, and love the buns they use. Food is always fast. We always sit outside, usually more or less the only ones since is summer, but it's peaceful and shady. I do wish some kind of side was included with the burgers, maybe chips that could be upgraded. But overall a really relaxed casual place for a decently priced, tasty lunch.

This place was surprisingly really good! I had the alibi burger and my husband had the garlic chicken bowl. The patio is so nice too, and fenced in for our daughter to run around. We will be back!
