Pizza is amazing, but can take awhile, which is understandable when it's crowded. Also a bit pricey if you want to take the family out because pizzas are enough for any guy to eat too themselves. (We guys need food). The drinks are great because you get a drink card and you can sample from maybe 20+ beers, ciders, sours, hard kambucha, wines. I love coming here and just tasting. The outside is great for family and kids with their different lawn and board games. Live music depending on the days and tabletop firepits to add to romantic date nights and warmth. The brewery right next door has dollar shot days so you can pregame as well.

I’ve been here a couple times so far, and I love how many options they have on tap. Their special pepperoni pizza was amazing. One thing I struggle with is I am a little bit hard of hearing so the outdoor music was too loud for me, and the inside music was too loud for me. I didn’t feel like there was anywhere I could go where I could hear well, and this was when it wasn’t crowded.

We went there for a birthday party and it was out first time going there.
The BEST pizza I've found in Chico!
The one we had:
Garlic White Sauce, Cheese, Roasted Garlic, Grilled Chicken, Marinated Tomatoes, Bacon, Topped with Fresh Chives.??????
Looks like it's dog friendly too.
Will for sure be back!
The outdoor space looked great! It was just a bit to cold for me on the night we went to hang out outside.
It is a bit confusing on where you order pizza due to its kind of tucked back in a corner and then you have to pay at the bar.

My first time visiting The Commons, even tho I've been hearing about it for awhile. We brought chairs and sat out in the grass area, where we also danced a lot! Outside bartenders were super friendly and fun. Pizza was awesome. Casual, relaxed atmosphere, where people brought their kids. I never went inside the building so I can't even comment on what it's like in there, but I'm told there is a wall of beers! Next time I'll go in and check it out.

We called friends, lined up babysitters for a trivia night. When we got there we were told trivia was moved to the night before due to a large party. What???? It's still up on the internet and we watched a bunch of people walk in and be disappointed. Call ahead if you want to make sure they don't change things.

Cool concept pay per ounce for beers on tap, keeping track on a card! Live music outside was cool too!

The Commons is a fun place to hang out if you like beer and want to try different brews. This is a self-service place with a card that you tap above the brew you would like to taste. Pour as much as you want and only get charged for what you take.
The selections change so there is always something new to try. They also have a few wine selections in the back.
I enjoy the pizza. Nice thick crust and tasty toppings. Fire oven baked, so it takes a bit of time, just relax and enjoy yourself.
They just expanded their outdoor patio and have live bands and special events. Sometimes they are a closed event and sometime there is a cover charge. We were by a couple days ago and the music was booming loud. If you want to visit with your companions, not happening when the music is playing.
Dog friendly on the patios. Kids should stay at home! Not a fun place for kids, definitely for adults.
Parking is easy, but now that it's a larger place the parking spills over onto street parking. They are mainly in the sun, so I will probably be inside while the weather is hot.

Strange place, went in for a pint, they refused my cash, told me I had to pay by credit card only, really? No thanks, I hear the beer is overpriced anyway, I left, went to the brewery across the street, great service, ran a cash tab for me, no credit card required, they know how to treat locals !
