This is a unique place as they have indoor and outdoor seating and in the outdoor there's all kinds of games and things for kids and people to do there was a live band for Friday night that we were there and people took the dancing as the evening went on. You pour your own drinks from a wide variety of craft beer and wine cooler white cloth type beverages by scanning a card and you determine how much of what you want.
This is a great spot to take kids as long as there’s shade at the time you go. I like that you order at the counter, no waiting for servers to check on you. I like the concept of the card and self-pour but a few times have experienced issues with empty kegs and a cup full of foam needing to get help. Also, most recently when I was there only one hazy IPA was on tap which was surprising. I will also say this is a great spot for groups as you don’t have to worry about splitting a check and there is plenty of seating options inside and out.
Went on a Wednesday which was karaoke night. Great pizza and love the atmosphere!
I loved the different seating areas, there is a mix of inside and outside seating. And the pizza was soooo good, very crispy crust. We got the margarita pizza and barbacoa pizza. They have a great selection of drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol. There are also games and a mini arcade for kids. I plan to return for sure!
I love the commons ! Staff is always friendly and packed ! It’s such a great vibe. Beautifully designed and pizza is delish!! Always a yes when friends say let’s go!! There is always a place to sit and they even have tons of free board games to choose from. Bathrooms are always clean even if they have a slammed night this place maintains a fun and entertaining atmosphere!!
An absolutely amazing place!! Pizza was some of the best I've ever had and taps were top notch. Family friendly and looking forward to coming back.
I had an absolutely wonderful time! This venue offers great food. Great drinks and great atmosphere. There were people of all ages And they also allow dogs. It was very clean, open and the fire pits outside so warm, and welcoming!
Great place, well stocked, lots of options. We liked the ease of use and access to food and drink. My only thing is parking! It straight sucks if it's busy. You're walking a bit, if you're slow to get to the party. But they make up for it once you arrive!
Check before you go if thier playing live music unless you want your eardrums blown out
First time pizza was perfect. Second time it was an old re-heated something. Was not crispy, or taste fresh. Drinks are self serve, which is a neat system. The music was too loud. They had the games on, but the screens are practically on the ceiling. Warm and professional staff. Seating is odd. Wide open doors made it chilly. Wanted to give 4 stars, but the food is really expensive. It kind of hurt my feelings when they gave us the old pizza tho. I feel like they would not do that to certain clientele, but I was dressed casual. Oh yeah and the pizzas are small.

Pizza is amazing, but can take awhile, which is understandable when it's crowded. Also a bit pricey if you want to take the family out because pizzas are enough for any guy to eat too themselves. (We guys need food). The drinks are great because you get a drink card and you can sample from maybe 20+ beers, ciders, sours, hard kambucha, wines. I love coming here and just tasting. The outside is great for family and kids with their different lawn and board games. Live music depending on the days and tabletop firepits to add to romantic date nights and warmth. The brewery right next door has dollar shot days so you can pregame as well.

I’ve been here a couple times so far, and I love how many options they have on tap. Their special pepperoni pizza was amazing. One thing I struggle with is I am a little bit hard of hearing so the outdoor music was too loud for me, and the inside music was too loud for me. I didn’t feel like there was anywhere I could go where I could hear well, and this was when it wasn’t crowded.

We went there for a birthday party and it was out first time going there.
The BEST pizza I've found in Chico!
The one we had:
Garlic White Sauce, Cheese, Roasted Garlic, Grilled Chicken, Marinated Tomatoes, Bacon, Topped with Fresh Chives.??????
Looks like it's dog friendly too.
Will for sure be back!
The outdoor space looked great! It was just a bit to cold for me on the night we went to hang out outside.
It is a bit confusing on where you order pizza due to its kind of tucked back in a corner and then you have to pay at the bar.

My first time visiting The Commons, even tho I've been hearing about it for awhile. We brought chairs and sat out in the grass area, where we also danced a lot! Outside bartenders were super friendly and fun. Pizza was awesome. Casual, relaxed atmosphere, where people brought their kids. I never went inside the building so I can't even comment on what it's like in there, but I'm told there is a wall of beers! Next time I'll go in and check it out.
