Beautiful birthday dinner for my daughter. Thank you so much for paying extra close attention to everybody's different dietary needs. It was a beautiful evening with family and amazing food.
The bolognese pasta was made with ground beef and the pasta was cold but the plate was very warm telling me the pasta was sitting for awhile. I make an amazing bolognese and an amazing filet migon au pivoir so really the price for their filet was absurd. Take your money to fifth street. I see why this establishment took some time to re open after Covid

Very enjoyable evening out with our friends. The food and libations were delicious and our server was attentive and sweet. The way the tables are positioned was a little odd, so the couple seated behind us was very close. Would benefit from a taller partition between.
It had a nice ambiance and well appointed decor. Service was excellent. The wedge salad was outstanding but the rib eye was not the best cut. The Mahi Mahi tacos were very flavorful. Great salsa. My only critical comment is the menu could use a little expansion. I have only been once so maybe it changes.

Over 1hr to receive our food. I didn't want to pay $49 for 12oz Ribeye so I went with the $26 chicken parmesan... 26$ for a chicken breast that was obviously brined (rubbery texture) but not butterflied and/or tenderized. Burnt at the ends (as in black) and center was still over cooked and dry. Sauce was flavorfull and spicy, almost saved the chicken. Waitress was friendly and attentive, but Mngmt trying to get by on skelton crew Friday night at 7pm??? Everything was overpriced, considering the extremely slow service. Surprised they didn't even comp us a desert to try and win us back. Nice decor but customers are grouped together very tight, which made restaurant very loud, like a truckstop diner. Will not revisit. These days, my money needs to go farther or at least get what I pay for.
The Grill is a first class place in old town Chico, CA. Good food, good drinks, with friendly servers in a beautiful fully restored 1904 hotel. The noise level for Sunday brunch was low enough where my wife and I could actually hold a normal conversation. We would go again!

Very disappointed in service and food quality. I took friends wanting a quality resturant. Benedict sauce was cold and muffin was tuff. Pricing is reasonible for what you get. Waitress must have had a bad day. No smiles, no condiments, no return for water or coffee fill up. Bad attitude.

We came to The Grill to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Service was good, not necessarily exceptional; our server was a bit short with us but she warmed up towards the end. We went for Sunday brunch and the food was tasty! Biscuits and gravy were delicious and the eggs Benedict were classic and yummy! Overall a good experience!

Steak was good, next Time I would get the filet. would've been nice to get a small dinner salad. But they don't offer a dinner salad. overall, I would give it 4 stars out of 5.
Went for new years eve party. Not good, felt as though it was thrown together at last minute and DJ was not pleasant. I overheard him at the end say "this was the longest night of might life". He was terrible, didn't even stop music at midnight to help us know when to ring in new year. Bar was understaffed and had to wait forever for a drink. Won't be back next year.
The food was very good. Although our server was very sweet, she needs to be trained in how to serve regarding bringing drinks out first then appetizers we felt very rushed. She took away food before we were done. It just felt like there was very inexperienced, servers, and I think it would be very helpful to your restaurant to train them.

Amazing food! Everything we ate was incredible. The filet was cooked perfectly. The appetizer was great! Lemon bar super good. Server was courteous and quick. All around great experience! Can't wait to go back soon

Considering that this was on NYE 2023, it was not overly crowded, we had the late sitting. Food is good here, but service needs some training. Speed of service could be improved, this was a prix fix menu but instead of asking all details, they would wait til we were finished and then return for order of next food, this seems to slow down the process greatly. Friendly staff, but some extra training would greatly improve the overall experience.

I went to The Grill last night for the first time to celebrate my birthday with my best friends and it was delicious. Carrie was our server and she was amazing! She answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions for what to order. She was friendly, attentive and made our experience even better.
