I was curious about their portobello mushroom tacos. Excellent vegetarian alternative, they were perfectly cooked and very savory! They have a fun atmosphere with "science-y" paraphernalia and art on the walls which makes it a cool place for people to hang out. I haven't been often or tried much of anything else but I will be returning in the future just for those mushroom tacos alone.

I met up with a large group of friends at The Lab for drinks and some food. The guys running the place were helpful and welcoming. Samples of the brews were provided, which was nice. Food from the kitchen was good and the menu prices were not high. There were some TV screens mounted high on the walls but none of them turned on and most were not placed well for really watching anything. Their website advertised 44 beers on tap but many were crossed off the brew menu when we arrived. My biggest gripe was that the establishment tagged $2 onto the menu prices for each food item - due to “COVID”. I cried foul because the menu price for my quesadilla was $10 but I was charged $12. The server adjusted the price for me (then kept my change as a tip without asking). As we left, we noticed a hand-written note on the door stating that menu prices will be adjusted up due to COVID costs. I understand that food costs are increasing due to the pandemic. What this business SHOULD have done was change the laminated page they passed out as the menu to reflect their real prices or have told us about the price changes when they took the order. Good location, plenty of parking, interesting science murals on the walls.

I used to love this place.First of all, it is illegal in California to have food posted on a menu for one price and then charge your customers more (for example, the menu says an order of wings is $15. Charging $24 when the bill comes is illegal)--even if you have a sign on the door saying prices have changed; tape over the printed menu prices and write the new price in if you're too strapped to afford pricing new menus.Last night we brought a party in to celebrate a friend's birthday: drinks were forgotten, food arrived with none of their advertised garnish or seasonings, balsamic salad dressing as thick as curdled gravy, hair baked into the breading of the chicken wings...This was utterly disappointing and a massive tank in quality. We won't be back.

Good selection of brews. Food a tad bit pricey. Cool atmosphere.

The food quality has gone down since last time I ate there really unfortunate. Ordered wings and some other thing but it was so overly cooked and tough. The bones broke off into piece when you bit into it. Big bummer.To answer question below(don’t know how else to do.) It was dine in.

Customer service was ok. But the recommended chicken sammich that is supposedly a crowd favorite... It was dry and bland. I've heard good things, so hopefully this was just a bad day

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Grate place to get an adult beverage and great food. I had the grapefruit beer(the house beer) oh so good!

Strong wifi so a good study location. Food wasn't that impressive.

Great service, excellent food, and amazing signature cocktails. Totally recommend the wings, which are crispy and full of flavor. The spicy marg and Hawaiian mule were stiff, but well-balanced. This instantly became one of my favorite spots.

It’s a great place to get drinks with friends

Staff is friendly but the overall environment is lacking. Great selection of beer but the beer is on the warmer side. Food is mediocre but not bad by any means. They do offer some fun entertainment occassionally including comedy shows.

So took 2 hrs to get 2 club sandwiches..mac and c all to go ordered a coors light sold out. Got home food cold. Home is 3.4 mins you decide

So far the people are nice and accommodating. I remember the place from chico brewery.
