I was curious about their portobello mushroom tacos. Excellent vegetarian alternative, they were perfectly cooked and very savory! They have a fun atmosphere with "science-y" paraphernalia and art on the walls which makes it a cool place for people to hang out. I haven't been often or tried much of anything else but I will be returning in the future just for those mushroom tacos alone.
I met up with a large group of friends at The Lab for drinks and some food. The guys running the place were helpful and welcoming. Samples of the brews were provided, which was nice. Food from the kitchen was good and the menu prices were not high. There were some TV screens mounted high on the walls but none of them turned on and most were not placed well for really watching anything. Their website advertised 44 beers on tap but many were crossed off the brew menu when we arrived....
Great service, excellent food, and amazing signature cocktails. Totally recommend the wings, which are crispy and full of flavor. The spicy marg and Hawaiian mule were stiff, but well-balanced. This instantly became one of my favorite spots.
