So I pull up to Tom Tom’s Island Style thinking I’m just getting some lunch. I go straight for the steak and shrimp hibachi — nothing crazy, just trying to eat good. Wife orders sushi & says it was super fresh. 🍣
I take one bite of my steak and just… stop. Bro, I had to put the fork down and reassess my choices in life. That flavor hit me in 4K HDR.
Everything was hot, perfect, and seasoned like the chef personally felt my hunger pains. I told my wife, “If they catered weddings, I’d marry you again just to have this at the reception.” 😂
5 stars easy. Didn’t just eat — experienced.

Best food I’ve had in Chico. Best meal I had in a few years actually! Served hot, fresh, and with a smile. They gladly accommodate my preferences and served me a delicious meal I’ll never forget. I couldn’t even wait to get home and eat it I ate it on the sidewalk and finished it right there. So good.

This place is amazing. The staff are so nice and the food is even better. I have an annoying food allergy. They went out of their way to make the dish safe for me and it was incredibly tasty. I appreciate everything about this place. The best lumpia and sushi I've had in this town. Thank you guys for being awesome.

This is a food truck restaurant. Sushi was good. People were very nice. There are tables outside for eating or take it to go. Can't wait to go back and try other things they have.

Tom Tom's is hands down the best food truck you will find in chico! The food is amazing! Tom is personable and cares deeply about the community and his customers. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal from good people!

We just moved up here and I was looking on Maps of places to eat at. Imagine my excitement seeing a food truck that does Chamorro fusion being a fellow Chamorru. We deicided to check it out. My son was excited cause red rice with some finadene is his jam. We pulled up to the parking lot, when you do, there is a sign that is painted with the Guam seal. This meant to me the owner of Tom Tom has a lot of Chamorro pride and that brought joy. Sadly this quickly diminished when we walked up to the truck.
I was still hyped with curiousity. The menu was totally different to what I saw on their Maps. Figured I would still try it support locals. I overheard one of the workers describe red rice as being sweet to an elderly lady. Uh what?? It should be savory. Had me nervous but still wanted to give it a try. The staff does not have that Chamorro hospitality. They take your order and thats it. I stated I was Chamorro and excited to try their hibachi and bowls. Totally dismissed and uncared. This ached. Islanders have a welcome in sort of hospitality. Making you feel like family or a long lost friend. Not this where you're snobbed and just give me your money.
With that said, let's discuss the food. I kept reminding myself they had to adapt. Ti bandu-hu. The steak was very tender and had some flavors to it. Just appreciated how tender it was and juicy. The red rice isn't as orange that I am used to but still fine. And no it wasn't sweet. Not sure why they would say it was. The sweetness was probably from the sauce place on top. The sushi was actually really fresh. It wasn't something I would expect from a food truck.
I hope one day you introduce some Chamorro food again and your staff become more friendly. Teach them the hospitality that us Chamorros grew up to.
First time trying and was absolutely delicious presentation was at 💯 will be a definite returning customer would love to see these guys expand with more trucks or physical resturaunts because they would go far also the staff was awsome

I give this place four stars out of five today I ordered the steak and shrimp and fried rice . the steak and the fried rice was good but they forgot the shrimp. I even dropped them a tip. The food was good the owner Tom tom is a super nice guy they just forgot the shrimp. Would I go back there and order food again? yes I would. I just advised that before you leave check your order.
