overall good experienceprices (from left to right) - $19, $19, $61st plate - Mole Trés Marias was very flavorful and the chicken was falling apart at the touch. very good, however the sauce was a little watery, but overall good. most memorable dish that we ordered.2nd plate- La Birria was a little disappointing, portion was a little small for the price, flavor wise was decent. the sauces were decent. nothing too outatanding3rd plate- Quesabirria was a little cold and so was its caldo. needed a bit more cheese but was pretty good.Service was amazing!

Super delicious, fresh food with good portion size for burrito! Got the vegetarian burrito with the green sauce and it was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. It felt less greasy than most Mexican food. The chips and salsa to start were a bonus. Friendly service, nice interior - I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Delicious and authentic dishes. A perfectly prepared Poblano Chile Relleno is a special treat! So glad we took a chance on this local gem.

We had a wonderful late lunch here with crispy, bright Del Mar Tacos, a delicious side of pinto beans and a generous, smooth and creamy Guacamole. We will definitely return. The owner personally served us with kindness and joy.

Plobano relleno, enchiladas Tres Maria's and tres Banderas enchiladas (mole sauce) were the dishes we tried and each were very delicious. I also ordered a michelada and it was huge, spicy, and very good. Would recommend.

New restaurant but they've done a nice job already creating a clean, nice atmosphere. Food is priced 20% higher and serving size is less than the competition. Alcohol menu is limited. I look forward to returning in a few months to see how it turns out since this is newly opened and they're still working out their vibe.

In a hole in the wall, located at the beginning of Park Ave, you have Tres Maria's. Date night prove to be a bust with other restaurants, so my wife and I stopped here. SO GLAD we did. It's a cozy establishment, with about 10 tables total, PERFECT for a date night restaurant. Seating was immediate, and the complimentary chips and salsa arriving less than 2 minutes after. Make no mistakes, this is a more upscale restaurant that serves outstanding food. I chose the Birria, while my wife chose the Carnitas. To say the food was delicious is an understatement. This was plated and served with care and love. Everything was seasoned and served flawlessly. Even the beans and rice were flavored to perfection, with just the right amount of flavor to impress any critic. After dinner, we ordered the Flan for dessert and were more impressed with that. The cooks here are authentic and NO JOKE. I personally walked to the back and tipped the cooks for their care and work. This is a MUST for any lover of Mexican food and a better establishment than 90% of what's in Chico.

Delicious food, with the most incredible flavor. Everything I tasted was amazing. I ordered the Poblano Relleno (it's gluten free) and loved every bite of it. Maria was delightful and the food came quickly. I'll definitely be back again soon!Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and Maria was happy to answer all my questions about what did or did not have gluten in it.

I can't say enough about this place, it's delightful, it's inviting, it's delicious! Our eyes were bigger than her stomachs but we prevailed lol. From the enchiladas, the tamales and the queso and chorizo we found ourselves in food bliss. The flavors the textures all blended beautifully together. They have creatively combined flavors from different regions of Mexico which will surely bring joy to your foodie senses.
