I love a bakery that offers many choices, and this bakery certainly meets that expectation. And, great choices at that. If that was all this bakery offered I would say go visit, but it's also a deli with a very appealing menu. All of this is offered in a well designed indoor and outdoor space that seats many. A must stop in Chico.

Stopped here on my way to work and didn't regret it! While there was somewhat of a lengthy line upon entering, it moved very quickly and wasn't a problem whatsoever. The customer service was excellent and answered all my questions, and provided awesome recommendations regarding various pastry options when asked. I got a delicious almond croissant, a yummy coconut lemon bar, and an egg and cheese bagel sandwhich, all of which were really great, so I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend this bakery next time you're craving baked goods and/or coffees!

I had a cake made for my daughter s wedding and at last minute we were notified that they wouldn’t deliver!! I think that should be the main thing they should mention when the cake was ordered!! Terrible customer service wouldn’t used them again !!

I have so many issues with this place. I got married on October 5th, 2024 and I had wanted to have my wedding cake made by this bakery. On Wednesday, September 11, I called the bakery to schedule a cake tasting for the following Wendesday, Sepember 18. I showed up to my tasting appointment, only for them to say "we don't have your tastings ready. Sorry we 'dropped the ball'" I rescheduled a week later for Wednesday, September 25th. While making my new appointment, they were confirming all of my details and asking what the date of my event is and said "Oh yeah, we'll have to put in a special order but we'll make it work" and before we left, I asked to confirm that it'll be ready in time and he said "when is your event?" As if I didn't tell him 5 minutes before. I come to my tasting appointment and they have my samples ready and the appointment goes well! I place the order for my cake and email them my picture of the decorations, however, when my wedding cake arrived ON MY WEDDING DAY, the cake was completely toppled over and smashed inside the box because there was no indication which way was "right side up". I know that the cake was not knocked over at all during the transportation so they must've failed to protect the cake prior to us picking it up from the bakery. Also, the cake wasn't even that good! It was too sweet and very soggy. Thank you, Uppercrust, for ruining my wedding cake.

Jeff and his crew are the BEST in Chico; always friendly, fun and personable. The food is fabulous! Favorites: Black Bean Chili with Pesto, the Oatmeal Cake, and always perfect Croissants. Thanks for making us feel like special guests!🥰
This is one of our favorite places in town. I took away one star since everything there is too sweet. The drinks are too sweet (vanilla frost), the apple caramel is too sweet (over powering), even the coconut macaron. Someone needs to dial things down a bit. The atmosphere is great. Customer service is great. The place is clean and quiet. We were a party of 4. Plenty of food options. Next time we will stick with sandwiches and juices / less sweet drinks. Deserts here need to be fixed.

I ordered cupcakes for my daughter's birthday, and because I ordered over a dozen, I received a 10% discount, which is nice. It was $50 for 18 cupcakes. Unfortunately, the cupcakes were terribly dry, almost miniature in size, and the frosting tasted like it came out of a Pillsbury tub. They were a bad quality dessert and I don't know if I'll ever buy dessert from the Uppercrust again. It's a bit embarrassing because I talked about how good the uppercrust cakes are and then everyone was served seriously underwhelming cake.
